Hampshire: Overseas signing Kyle Abbott named in SA Test squad

New Hampshire overseas signing Kyle Abbott has been called into the South Africa squad for Saturday's third and deciding Test against Australia.

Abbott had match figures of 12-125 for Dolphins against Cape Cobras last week in South Africa's domestic competition.

He has played one previous Test, taking 7-29, the ninth best figures of all time for a debutant in Test cricket.

The fast bowler, 26, is due to join the Hampshire squad for their second County Championship game of the season.

That fixture, against Gloucestershire, starts on 13 April in Bristol.
