Glamorgan: Coach Toby Radford criticises county's 249-run defeat

Glamorgan coach Toby Radford criticised his side for a lack of fight as they lost to Worcestershire by 249 runs.
Pakistan off spinner Saeed Ajmal took 7-34 as Glamorgan were bowled out for 105 inside just over three hours.
Ajmal finished with match figures of 12-140 as Glamorgan slipped to only a second County Championship defeat.
"We knew it was going to be tough on a turning pitch, but I would have hoped for a bit of a longer fight and a better fight than that," said Radford.
"He does it on an international level. He is knocking over international sides. We are not the first, but still we want to keep learning as a side."
Radford said that Division Two leaders Worcestershire winning the toss was a major factor in the game as Glamorgan had to bat last on a very dry, New Road pitch.
As well as criticising Glamorgan for the performance Radford also had a swipe at the England and Wales Cricket Board for the fixture list that forces his side to play 22 days of cricket in 29 days between 13 June and 11 July.
"I think the schedule definitely needs to be looked at," insisted Radford
"The schedule has been unbelievable. It's literally playing every day, sort of back-to-back. Players are getting tired.
"This is when you get injuries or performance starts to dip. It's been tough for us.
"We have got a lot of injuries to the back-up players so it's hard to rotate the squad. We have ended up playing the same players in all competitions. That is very hard for fast bowlers.
"There is very little time to work between matches as well and prepare and practise the way you would want. You are either on the motorway or playing."
Glamorgan have picked up injuries to bowlers. Graham Wagg is out for a few weeks with a side strain and Mike Reed is now sidelined for the whole season with a knee injury.
Following the defeat by Worcestershire, Glamorgan have back-to-back T20 Blast games against Middlesex at Richmond on Thursday night and at Cardiff against Somerset on Friday night before travelling to Colwyn Bay for their next four-day game against Surrey.
