Glamorgan all-rounder David Lloyd and batsman Will Bragg celebrate

Will Bragg and David Lloyd have agreed new contracts to stay with Glamorgan.

Batsman Bragg was the only Glamorgan player to hit 1,000 first-class runs last season and the left-hander, 28, is in form this term with two centuries in the first five Championship games.

All-rounder Lloyd, 22, joined Glamorgan in 2012 and started this year with an unbeaten maiden first-class 50 against Leicestershire.

"It is an amazing feeling to extend my contract," Bragg said.

"Having come through the development system it has been a great journey so far and I believe we're starting to build something which will be progressive and hopefully bring the club silverware in the next few years."

Lloyd added: "I'm delighted my immediate future is with Glamorgan, I've enjoyed my opportunities in the first team and this season is going quite well so far.

"Personally I feel like my game has come on and I'm enjoying the environment, there's a good vibe in the dressing room and we're keen to push on in both the four-day games and in one-day cricket."
