Will Bragg and Ben Wright both struck half-centuries as Glamorgan completed a convincing seven-wicket win over Surrey at Guildford in Division Two.

Resuming on 276-8, Surrey added one to their overnight total before Graham Wagg took two wickets in as many balls to leave Glamorgan a target of 246.

Jacques Rudolph hit 40 as he and Bragg (83) put on 77 for the first wicket.

Bragg then combined with Wright (68) to share a stand of 128, before Colin Ingram's 25-run cameo sealed victory.

It capped a remarkable turnaround for the Welsh side, who had slipped to 54-5 in response to Surrey's first-innings 406 before Wagg's 200 turned the game in their favour.

Third-placed Glamorgan have now closed the gap on Surrey in second to only 12 points and also have a game in hand.

But they are still 60 points behind Lancashire, who are top of Division Two with six wins and 167 points from their nine matches so far.

Glamorgan batsman Will Bragg told BBC Wales Sport:

"From our point of view it went absolutely unbelievably today.

"It was nice to knock them over pretty cheaply and from the outset the guys would have chased anything. It's not about ifs and buts, we're here to win whatever the situation in the game.

"Ben Wright and me enjoy batting together and it was a good partnership to break the back of the game and guide us home. I was eyeing up a century but I'm just happy to contribute to the win."
