Jersey beat rivals Guernsey by seven wickets to keep their hopes of promotion from World Cricket League Division Five alive.

Guernsey scored 149 all out form 42.2 overs, slumping from 58-1 to 97-6 as Jersey's bowlers carved through their top and middle order.

Nat Watkins took 3-29 and Rob McBey 3-41 as Jersey's bowlers dominated.

In reply Ben Stevens hit 67 not out and Jonty Jenner got 41 as Jersey eased to their target in just under 40 overs.

The win sees Jersey draw level on points with Guernsey in second place in the table.

Oman are now two points ahead of both islands having beaten Vanuatu by nine wickets.

The top two sides will be promoted to World Cricket League Division Four, while the bottom three countries in the six-team group will be relegated to regional leagues.
