Jersey have named three Under 19 players in their squad to face Spain in two T20 internationals next month.

Fast bowlers George Richardson and William Perchard, along with wicketkeeper Jack Kemp, are part of the 13-man squad to play at La Manga.

The team will be captained by Charles Perchard as they play their first matches of the year on 13 and 14 April.

The games will be the first for Jersey's new men's head coach after Neil MacRae left his role in January.

The matches are preparation for July's European qualifiers in Germany for the 2026 T20 World Cup.

Jersey - who came fourth in the final round of European qualifying last summer for the 2024 event - have been drawn against Belgium, Croatia, Serbia and Switzerland in their group

Not named in the squad are Jersey's First Class players - Glamorgan's Asa Tribe and Wellington's Nick Greenwood - who have club commitments.

Spinner Ben Ward, who is playing club cricket in South Africa, is also unavailable as are regulars Josh Lawrenson, Elliot Miles and Rhys Palmer.

Jersey Squad:

Charles Perchard (capt), Dan Birrell, Dom Blampied, Charlie Brennan, Toby Britton, Harrison Carlyon, Patrick Gouge, Jonty Jenner, Jack Kemp, William Perchard, George Richardson, Julius Sumerauer, Zak Tribe
