Scotland will open their Women's T20 World Cup Global Qualifier Group A campaign against Uganda on 25 April.

The Scots next face Sri Lanka (27 April), USA (29 April) and Thailand (3 May) in Abu Dhabi.

Ireland and Zimbabwe will take on Scotland in warm-up games on 21 and 23 April respectively.

"Now the fixtures are confirmed, it definitely builds the excitement," said interim head coach Craig Wallace, who will name his squad on Friday.

"The fixture schedule is great, but every squad in the competition is really strong. It will come down to how we want to play and how we can impose our brand and style of cricket on each game.

"I think we've done well in the fixtures we've played in the last few months, and I'm looking forward to us showing what we can do on the big stage in UAE.

"Handling the conditions during the tournament will be really important. It's obviously going to be challenging in the heat, but it will ultimately come down to believing that our way of playing can beat any team."

Ireland, Zimbabwe, the Netherlands UAE and Vanuatu make up Group B.

The top two in each group progress to the semi-finals on May 5, with the final two days later. The two finalists are both guaranteed a place at the Women's T20 World Cup in Bangladesh later this year.
