Glamorgan are back in the top flight of the County Championship for the first time in 21 years

Glamorgan will play their first top-flight Championship match in 21 years at home to Yorkshire, starting on Friday 3 April.

They follow it up with a tough away trip to defending champions Nottinghamshire the following week.

Glamorgan face Leicestershire, Hampshire, Somerset, Warwickshire and Surrey twice.

The fixtures against Yorkshire and Nottinghamshire are the teams' only encounters, while there is also just one meeting with Sussex (away) and Essex (home).

As in previous years, the only men's matches away from Cardiff are at Neath, which hosts One-Day Cup games against Sussex and Yorkshire on 22 and 24 July to start the tournament.

The 50-overs competition is brought forward with the group stages ending on 9 August, allowing for six Championship games in the closing stages of the season.

There are also six in the opening block and just two in June, with no first-class cricket in July.

Glamorgan Women play their opening One-Day Cup game against Gloucestershire in Cardiff on Sunday 12 April, after finishing as runners-up in the League Two tournament their first season.

They also host Leicestershire at Sophia Gardens the following week, with two other home venues to be announced.
