  1. Postpublished at 18:54 BST 21 October

South Africa captain Laura Wolvaardt: "Batting went pretty good. Scoring 312 in 40 overs is really nice, there were performances all round, Kapp was amazing in the middle, Nadine de Klerk was amazing.

"It was pretty close to a complete performance. We had a 100-run partnership, a big finish, we ticked all the boxes in the phases. Very happy with that after being put in.

"We thought our seamers would be big up front. We thought Kappy and Ayabonga Khaka would be good up front and they helped shift the DLS our way after the rain."

Pakistan captain Fatima Sana: "The bowlers didn't perform well. We have to accept that. And the way South Africa played was awesome. We need to be calmer in those situations.

"After the second over, which was before the rain, and after the rain, it was completely different. It was difficult.

"We still had belief [at the halfway stage]. We know it is a good track. We didn't get partnerships and after that, we just tried to build. We need to have more belief."

The players are back out in the middle for Pakistan's chase.

Muneeba Ali and Omaima Sohail will open the batting while Marizanne Kapp has the ball in hand for South Africa.

  18. Postpublished at 15:57 BST 21 October

South Africa's Sune Luus: "The coach said before the game to go out and express yourself. It was a good opportunity for us to get another win on the board going into the Australia game and the semis. It was a game for the batters to express themselves and play some shots.

"We [me and Laura Wolvaardt] always get good partnerships when we bat together. We feed off each other. She's a class player.

"All the matches so far, it's been hard to defend and close matches. Having won all of our matches batting second, this was a good challenge after the England match.

"It's a pretty good wicket, pretty flat, and the outfield is skiddy. You can never be too complacent. We're going to keep it simple and stick to the basics."
