Just so we're clear - Laurie Evans is so far back as wicketkeeper. He is nearly on the 30-yard circle!

Nice shot from Michael Pepper. He uses the pitch and whacks it hard!

  2. Superchargers 7-1published at 90 balls left

    133 runs needed

An excellent delivery to start from Jofra Archer, cutting between Michael Pepper's bat and pad with strong seam movement after the ball passed the Superchargers number three.

Archer's first four balls are scoreless, but Pepper whips his final ball square with a pull shot, picking up the first four of the innings.

Welsh Fire are going to have to find something special.

A nice start from Craig Overton. He's done a really good job for the Brave.

He's a wicket-taker, and he does do that for the Southern Brave.

Unfortunately for Dawid Malan, he has missed it and it's the horrid noise of the timber going.

    Bowled around his legs!

Dawid Malan steps across his stumps to try and help the ball fine and sees Craig Overton's fourth ball slip past his calves and strike middle stump.

An early blow to Superchargers' chances.

Zak Crawley plays the pace really well and that's all he's going to be getting here.

I am sure that he will be going at the bowlers.

Northern Superchargers opener Zak Crawley is striding confidently out to the middle.

He made 67 from 38 balls in his first innings this year, but was dismissed for two against Trent Rockets on Sunday.

Dawid Malan takes the non-striker's end, Craig Overton opens the bowling for Southern Brave.

It's been such a good performance by the Manchester Originals. From start to finish Welsh Fire haven't been able to get going. Kathryn Bryce has finished off the innings brilliantly. A symbolic end to the Welsh Fire's innings. Good contact made by Freya Davies but just fell safely in the fielder's hands. Sums up the Fire's innings. Fire will need a miracle to defend that.

Welsh Fire's 73-9 today is the lowest score in the history of The Hundred women's competition without the team being bowled out.

Rather fittingly, the Welsh Fire innings ends with a wicket - Freya Davies chipping Kathryn Bryce straight down Sophie Ecclestone's throat at long-on.

At least they didn't get bowled out, eh.

Really poor batting from Welsh Fire today. Brilliant bowling from Kathryn Bryce making sure Katie George stayed on the stumps, didn't give any width. George had to go for it. All she could do is swing and miss.

Welsh Fire finished top of the women's table last year and were beaten by London Spirit in the final.

They are getting nowhere near this year, on this evidence.

Katie George with an ugly hack, she misses and Kathryn Bryce cleans up the stumps.

Southern Brave with less runs that we thought they would end with, but it still feels like a good first innings score.

The Brave get back for two. Their score feels a little under par but a decent effort from where they were.

Santner is having to cover a lot of ground. He's panting with his hands on his knees after Bracewell gets back for two.

    Big finish?

    Marvellous fielding.

Mitch Santner adjusted his feet and hands to make sure it didn't rearrange his teeth and to make sure it didn't hit the boundary!

  20. Brave 135-5published at 98 balls

More good fielding from Santner protects the boundary and his teeth.

    Two balls to go.
