  1. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 20 overs

    Kumar c Arya b Arshdeep 1 (RCB 190-9)

Make that three wickets in the final over for Punjab Kings.

Priyansh Arya takes the catch at long-on.

RCB have finished on 190-9. Is that enough?

  2. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 19.4 overs

    Krunal c Shreyas b Arshdeep 4 (189-8)

Another wicket falls. Krunal Pandya picks out Shreyas Iyer at long-on. It's all finishing with a bit of a whimper for RCB.

  3. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 19.2 overs

    Shepherd lbw b Arshdeep 17 (RCB 188-7)

Romario Shepherd is trapped lbw by Arshdeep Singh. He'll cause no more chaos tonight.

The batter has reviewed the decision but he's also walked off... it's out. Good job really because he was nearly in the dressing room.

  4. RCB 187-6published at 19 overs

Punjab Kings may come to regret dropping Romario Shepherd.

He ruins Azmatullah Omarzai's figures with a four and a six to finish the over, the latter landing deep in the stands.

200 is still on for RCB.

  5. RCB 173-6published at 18 overs

It's an excellent over from Vijaykumar Vyshak. Just five runs from it and the wicket of the free-scoring Jitesh Sharma.

Every time RCB have started to a build a partnership, Punjab Kings have found a way to break it.

  6. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 17.4 overs

    Jitesh b Vyshak 24 (RCB 171-6)

My word. What an eventful four balls.

Romario Shepherd was dropped off the first ball of the over.

Jitesh Sharma had a caught behind decision successfully overturned off the third.

And then he's bowled off the fourth. He departs for a blistering, but all too brief, 24 (10).

  7. RCB 170-5published at 17 overs

With three overs remaining, 200 is well and truly on for RCB.

  8. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 16.5 overs

    Livingstone lbw b Jamieson 25 (RCB 167-5)

Kyle Jamieson silences the RCB fans, trapping Liam Livingstone lbw.

    RCB unsuccessfully review the decision.

  9. RCB 167-4published at 16.5 overs

Should RCB have sent Jitesh Sharma in higher than six?

He welcomes Kyle Jamieson back into the attack with two huge sixes and has raced to 24 (8). Liam Livingstone gets in on the fun, with a six of his own.

The New Zealand international is having a horrible time with the ball. He's conceded three sixes from the over so far and also bowled three wides, one of which Shreyas Iyer chooses to appeal. Have to confess - I'd forgotten about that rule.

    James in Cornwall

Team IPL! Who are you all cheering for? Thumbs up for RCB. Thumbs down for Punjab Kings.

  11. RCB 145-4published at 16 overs

Jitesh Sharma is playing with intent.

His first boundary - off his gloves and over the top of wicketkeeper Josh Inglis - is a touch fortunate. The second is a huge slap through the covers.

13 off the over for RCB.

Play has resumed at The Oval in the third ODI between England and West Indies.

You can follow that - and re-live plenty of rain delay carbonara chat - in the company of my colleague Mike Peter here.

These next five overs are going to be crucial to this final.

  14. RCB 132-4published at 15 overs

RCB need Jitesh Sharma and Liam Livingstone to kick on.

There are five overs remaining. Is 200 out of their reach?

Virat Kohli was taking on the short delivery, bounced a bit higher than he would've thought but at least he tried to play that shot.

I don't think it's a bad thing for RCB. It gives the others a chance to run the score up.

  16. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 14.5 overs

    Kohli c & b Omarzai 43 (RCB 131-4)

Huge blow for RCB! Bowler Azmatullah Omarzai runs a long way and takes a diving catch off his own bowling to take the big wicket of Virat Kohli.

You think that RCB have still got so many power hitters to come, why not start playing freely? If you've got the resources, why waste them.

  18. RCB 125-3published at 14 overs

RCB have returned from the timeout with some much-needed va-va-voom.

Liam Livingstone dances down to Yuzvendra Chahal and hits him for six before Virat Kohli uses his excellent timing to pick off a four.

A much better over from RCB.

RCB have got the platform built with plenty of batters still to come, they can just go for it.

Another strategic timeout... Grab a breather, make a cuppa, etc.
