  1. SA 89-1published at 11 overs

Adil Rashid is such a canny operator. Heinrich Klaasen has been bumped up the order to try and attack the spinners, so Rashid tosses a few up to try and tempt him into an early swing - but Klaasen resists.

Just the two off the over. Rashid is 0-12 from his three overs so far, bringing some very timely control for England.

I thought this surface would suit Reeza Hendricks but he had absolutely no rhythm whatsoever.

South Africa got off to a great start in the powerplay but the four overs since then have been very tidy from England. I expect these two to kick on now.

Given Reeza Hendricks was struggling, his dismissal might actually work in South Africa's favour. They are in a very handy position at the halfway stage.

Heinrich Klaasen lit up the IPL and he is an incredible player of spin. He won't take the cautious approach.

A poor innings. He had to get a move on or get out, because he was going nowhere and holding South Africa back.

He charged at Moeen Ali but the bowler saw him coming and dragged his length back so he couldn't get all of it.

I can't see Heinrich Klaasen going at the same strike rate!

No question about that catch but with 19 from 24 balls, England might've wanted to keep him out there!

England do have a wicket - though it is Reeza Hendricks rather than Quinton de Kock.

Hendricks has just not got going and perhaps in an effort to jolt into life skips down the track and goes for a straight drive, but can only pick out Harry Brook at mid-on.

Nothing reveals more about the fan experience than the food available! Everywhere around the World Cup there have been local variations on the amazing jerk chicken. BBQs with smoke rising to the sky, small stalls with hand-written menus, and of course big dishes of the spicy, delicious meat.

Reeza Hendricks needs to get a move on. He is piling the pressure on De Kock and he will be frustrating his team-mates waiting to come in. He doesn't want to leave them too much to do.

  12. SA 80-0published at 9 overs

There is a lopsided look to the scorecard at the moment, with Quinton de Kock on 59 from 31, while Reeza Hendricks is on a stodgy 18 from 23.

He needs to accelerate or get out you'd think.

England are aggrieved but you can clearly see that the ball has touched the ground. It is the right decision.

The wind is blowing from left to right across the ground so Mark Wood has got into what he thinks is a good position to take it, but the ball holds in that wind. He would have felt in control, and he would have genuinely felt like he had it, but he didn't get all of his fingers underneath it.

    He didn't!

The third umpire rules Mark Wood had grounded the ball. -

England are not happy but the replay does suggest the ball hit the turf as the catch was taken.

It was on the pads, Quinton de Kock will be fuming. Mark Wood barely had to move.

  20. Umpire reviewpublished at 8.2 overs

Quinton de Kock has perfectly picked out Mark Wood on the square leg boundary - but did Wood ground the ball?

England are celebrating but De Kock is not going anywhere.

The umpires send it upstairs for a closer look.
