    Klaasen c Wells b Green 11 (Originals 56-4)

After the big build-up, Heinrich Klaasen falls to the spinner!

He has sliced this to deep square-leg trying to clobber it down town. A big moment.

  2. Originals 54-3published at 55 balls left

It's a good start from Green so he will continue...

Heinrich Klaasen is a remarkable player of spin.

He's one of the best in white-ball cricket of taking down the spinners.

Time for spin in the form of Chris Green.

This feels like a crucial moment given these two can whack spinners as well as anyone.

Watch out if you're in a boat on the Taff.

  5. Originals 45-3published at 60 balls left

    Need 89 from 60 balls

Josh Hull, on again as Ffion says, starts well but then is hit to the boundary by the brilliant Buttler who bends his back to give himself the leverage to get a ball through backward point.

The former England captain gets away with the next one as a leading edge loops over mid-on.

Josh Hull is going to bowl again, he had a beauty earlier which flew past the top handle of Jos Buttler's bat.

I think we will see Buttler take his chances now.

  7. Originals 42-3published at 65 balls left

Need 96 runs from 65 balls

The thing for the Originals is because they're not chasing a massive score they can just be a little more cautious against Meredith, who is bowling up at 90mph and swinging it too.

    Three from the set.

today was the second time a Welsh Fire bowler has taken three wickets when bowling back-to-back sets in the men's Hundred, with David Payne previously doing so at the death against Trent Rockets last season.

  9. Originals 40-3published at 68 balls left

For that reason, Riley Meredith is back again.

It feels like the rest of the seamers don't have the same threat as Riley Meredith.

I can understand the captaincy from Tom Abell trying to keep the pressure on Jos Buttler, but unfortunately Paul Walter has not picked his line and length.

  12. Originals 39-3published at 70 balls left

Need 99 more runs from 70 balls

One thing I will say about this Welsh Fire line-up is there's a drop off in quality between their best two bowlers and their fourth, fifth and sixth. There will be opportunities for batters of Jos Buttler and Heinrich Klaasen's quality and, as if to prove that point, they both find the boundary in these five balls.

Brilliant powerplay from the Welsh Fire - spearheaded by Riley Meredith.

Three wickets in 10 deliveries have changed this game and it has put Fire in the ascendency here.

  14. Originals 25-3published at 75 balls left

    Target 138

Heinrich Klaasen misses out on the last ball of Josh Hull's set as he cuts a wider ball straight to the fielder.

That's the powerplay done, though. You know what they say happens when you lose three wickets in it. Curtains.

You could feel the pressure in the air dissipating with that boundary. A business-like hit from Jos Buttler.

If Manchester Originals were trying to hold back Heinrich Klaasen they have been left with no choice. He has replaced Klaasen now.

Jos Buttler, meanwhile, drives and hacks back-to-back boundaries to show this thing is by no means done.

Pressure back on young Josh Hull.

Top-class bowling from Meredith using his pace and showing his skills. Not an easy stay for Mark Chapman.

Riley Meredith tortured Mark Chapman for four deliveries and he's been caught out on the fifth. An extraordinary bowling display from Meredith. Welsh Fire are well and truly on top.

Three wickets in the 10-ball set from Riley Meredith! Welsh Fire are right on top now.

It's superb stuff from the big Aussie quick. He beats Chapman three times outside off stump and then nicks him off with the final delivery.

Credit skipper Tom Abell for keeping him in too.

Excellent bowling from Riley Meredith. This looks horrible to face.
