Top batting from Tom Kohler-Cadmore. Previously in this set he'd gone over Tom Hartley's head. Great use of the footwork. it's nearly hit a security guard.

Down the track Tom Kohler-Cadmore goes! That was off the middle of the bat and it was hit with some conviction.

Sent down the ground twice by Tom Kohler-Cadmore!

Tom Hartley takes a second five and the Fire batter chooses to tuck in.

He clears the ropes from the second delivery of the set, seeing the ball changed for a second time after some damage, takes one look at the new ball and then sends it away again.

I can't believe that. I thought that was out. That just shows the height of Tom Hartley and the bounce that has been extracted from this wicket.

    Fire 63-3

Does Tom Hartley have a wicket with his first set of this season's Hundred?

The umpire says no, but Originals are going to take a look...

    No, bouncing over.

Some serious striking from Tom Kohler-Cadmore. Just waiting on the back foot as he does so well. He knew Tom Hartley was going to drive it into the wicket and just flat bats it over his head for four.

That was hit with some power. Tom Kohler-Cadmore went deep into his crease and pulverised it down the ground.

Good cricket from Tom Abell. He's picking the gaps nicely.

These two are very experienced, they'll have the understanding of balancing attack and defence. They've got to be realistic here. It's not the easiest of wickets so I feel a score of 130-140 will be very challenging.

  11. Fire 53-3published at 45 balls

A first sight of spin as Afghanistan's Noor Ahmad takes his first set of five balls.

Tom Abell works him for four through fine leg, bringing up the Fire half century.

That really is a brilliant slower ball by Scott Currie. It's his go to delivery, gets some serious revs on it. Luke Wells never got to grips with the wicket and he was just starting to get going there. All he could do was chip it up to Lewis Gregory.

The catch is taken pretty comfortably and Scott Currie has struck with a slower ball which is proving to be quite the weapon!

Just pushed to Lewis Gregory at cover!

Luke Wells timed a four beautifully through that area two balls ago, but he's walking off now.

Through the shot too early to a Scott Currie slower ball and the ball spoons up to Gregory.

Another impressive powerplay burst from Sonny Baker - so far nearly 40% of his powerplay deliveries have pitched on a good line and length, well above the tournament average of 30%

Tom Abell is a brilliant cricketer. Very quick between the wickets, brilliant fielder. Quite underrated.

  19. Fire 40-2published at 35 balls

Two fresh batters with Tom Abell joining Luke Wells, who is on two from five balls, at the crease.

Lewis Gregory takes a second set, and Abell swivels to pull his last ball for four, beating two fielders to reach the ropes at backward square.

We saw Steve Smith play a similar shot over cover earlier.

Josh Tongue drags his length back ever so slightly and Smith cannot get momentum behind the ball.

Another frustrating dismissal for the Australian.
