The umpires decide the fall of the wicket is the time for some refreshment.

England seem well on top here.

Ritu Moni, with her shirt collar buttoned up all the way to the top, decides now is the time for something more flamboyant...but it proves her downfall.

The Bangladesh batter skips down the pitch to Charlie Dean and swipes across the line. She's got the height but not the distances as Linsey Smith calmly strolls in a few paces and pouches a comfortable catch.

Ritu's five from 36 balls will not live long in the memory.

At what point are Bangladesh going to risk it? It is tough scoring out there but it would be nice to see them being more proactive.

England are whizzing through overs and they could get away with no more seam if they want to.

Inevitably, the folly of drinking back-to-back brews is the second cup of tea lacks the temperature of the first.

Another change of bowling here as Lauren Bell is summoned.

Her fifth over is bookended by singles for Ritu Moni and Sobhana Mostary.

Indore looks the flattest of all the pitches so do England bring Lauren Bell and Lauren Filer in or do they stick with the spinners? If both Laurens come in then who will miss out, I wonder?

  7. Ban 106-4published at 32 overs

Some nice flight and guile from Alice Capsey as she teases Sobhana Mostary outside off stump, and spins one past her outside edge.

Ritu Moni opens the face later in the over and guides it fine for a couple.

Half a chance at the end of the over when Moni gloved it down the leg side, but it would have been some take from England wicketkeeper Amy Jones.

Finished my first cup of tea, now about to start the second...

Bangladesh have their first boundary for quite some time when Sobhana Mostary square drives Nat Sciver-Brunt through the covers forr four. Nice shot.

And like number 10 buses, she has another four next ball via a thick edge which races through the vacant third region.

Bangladesh do not have to go for boundaries. You can get five runs an over just going for singles if you want to.

Almost some cricket breaking out as Ritu Moni skips down the pitch to Alice Capsey but she misses with a big waft. The Bangaldesh batter has one run off 24 balls.

    Another maiden slips by.

Bangladesh have got to find a way to put some pressure on. We have seen no fancy shots or anything to try and take the bowlers on.

Ritu Moni and Sobhana Mostary nudge and nurdle a couple of runs off Nat Sciver-Brunt's fourth over.

    Ponderous stuff from Bangladesh.

Alice Capsey is having her best year with the ball in ODI cricket.

She has seven wickets at an average of 15 in 2025 - her previous best year with the ball saw a bowling average of 34.

  15. Ban 90-4published at 28 overs

An opportunity for Alice Capsey, who can be a useful partnership breaker for England with the ball.

She spins one past the edge of Sobhana Mostary's bat which pricks the interest of Amy Jones a little.

Mostary keeps the strike with a single off the final delivery.

This partnership is worth five off 35. Eke, or indeed eek.

Bangladesh are crawling along. They are going to struggle to put an imposing total on the board. 150 might be possible.

These four wickets have really cost them and they cannot afford to lose any more.

  17. Ban 89-4published at 27 overs

Nat Sciver-Brunt is dangling the carrot to Ritu Moni, but the batter is not biting. Just a single off the over.

More safety first than Stanley Baldwin at the moment from Bangladesh.

In terms of depth of batting, Bangladesh do not have a huge luxury compared to some of the better teams. At this point, can they just focus on rotating the strike and get runs that way?

  19. Ban 88-4published at 26 overs

Linsey Smith ratles through a maiden. She has 1-9 from seven overs. Miserly stuff from the spinner.

How many cups of tea is acceptable in one sitting?

    Thanks, Matthew.

Been slightly slow going, but England will not mind that.

I've just made two cups of tea myself. Yes, TWO.
