This partnership has been needed. Charlie Dean is rotating the strike, despite not many boundaries.

While these two are in the middle, you do feel like England are in control. One more wicket however and that could all change.

  4. Eng 137-6published at 36 overs

Been very impressed by Bangladesh, Jim.

Whisper it quietly but it would be good for world cricket if they were to run England close here.

There's an assurance in the way Heather Knight is going about things now, though. She skips down the pitch again and thumps Sanjida Akter Meghla back over her head for four.

Knight looks determined to guide England home.

Can we give Bangladesh a little credit here? They already had a good result against Pakistan, and are probably feeling more "at home" in these conditions, than England.

  6. Eng 130-6published at 35 overs

Heather Knight comes down the pitch and chips the ball skywards.

England's players collectively hold their breath and sigh in relief when the ball plops safely over the head of mid-on.

Knight pinches the strike with a single off the final ball of the over.

Either way England have a lot of improving to do. I also feel that they let Bangladesh get 20 or 30 more runs than they should have.

Fahima Khatun spins a beauty back across Charlie Dean who backs away, attempts to work it to leg, but the ball clips her on the inner thigh. Too high for an lbw shout.

She manages to survive the over, picking up a single off the last ball.

This match has seen 2.7° of spin on average - the most of any game in the tournament to date.

A total of 13 wickets have fallen to spin, the joint most of any game and more spin deliveries have been bowled in this match than any other.

  10. Eng 123-6published at 33.3 overs

Fahima Khatun, who has 3-13, is back into the attack. She has been Bangladesh's ace in the pack, so far.

Will England see her off. Charlie Dean sees off three dots to start.

England are doing this little by little. A lovely shot from Charlie Dean, pressing forward and playing off the back foot.

They just need to keep ticking the runs down slowly.

  12. Eng 123-6published at 33 overs

Sophie Ecclestone is nibbling on her nails in the England dug out. They'll be a few bitten down the quick by the end here.

Charlie Dean transfers her weight from the front foot to the back before slapping Nahida Akter through the covers for four. Useful runs for England.

Heather Knight did so well using her feet and getting to the pitch of the ball. It is the risk-reward scenario here and she has to be the one to lead England home.

  14. Eng 117-6published at 32 overs

Heather Knight playing the percentages well, here.

She confidently shuffles forward and bops left-arm spinner Sanjida Akter Meghla back over head for a four straight down the ground.

She has 39 off 76 balls and the outcome of the match will probably hangs on her innings.

  16. Eng 112-6published at 31 overs

A welcome boundary for Heather Knight as she gets low and sweeps Shorna Akter's first ball fine for four.

Knight and Charlie Dean work three more singles off the over.

England have been shaky against spin for the last couple of years, and - let's not forget - they had a couple of narrow losses against India and in the Ashes this year.

    Ricky from Cheltenham

This is so disappointing. I'm just imagining Australia batting against this attack. It would be raining sixes.

  18. Eng 105-6published at 30 overs

The ponderous nature of Bangladesh's approach with the bat raised eyebrows, but all of sudden it looks like their players have read the pitch better than England.

A lot on Heather Knight's shoulders here.

England have had no answer. They have had issues facing spin before but not like this.

Charlie Dean has a lot to do here and Heather Knight cannot get out.
