I think you're being generous there, Aatif. Some would've caught that.

That was a tough one - Steven Taylor is a tall man at 6ft 4ins and it went over him.

    Oh, almost!

A horrible full toss is clubbed down the ground for six by Shadab Khan but it just evades the fielder at long-off.

It deserved six, and Shadab Khan would've been furious if he'd got out to it.

One-bounce four! Shadab Khan keeps the momentum going Pakistan's way.

Whatever they were told during the drinks break, it's worked.

Babar plays some very important innings for Pakistan but it doesn't always look pretty on paper because of his strike-rate.

    Here he goes!

Babar Azam whacks Harmeet Singh down the ground for six.

Babar is looking to accelerate. He knows Pakistan need a big total.

  9. Pak 74-3published at 11 overs

And get a move on, he does.

Babar smashes the spinner down the ground for four, but it's not too far away from being caught at long-off. He's been nowhere near his fluent, elegant best so far.

You wonder if the USA batters will enjoy the ball coming onto the bat with the Pakistan fast bowlers on this pitch. Even a target of 150 and USA will feel they're in the game.

  11. Pak 67-3published at 10.3 overs

Left-arm spinner Nosthush Kenjige is going to get things going after the drinks break, bowling his third over.

Pakistan opener and skipper Babar Azam is still there with 14 from 26 balls while Shadab Khan has 24 from 18. Babar really needs to get a move on.

    Cheers, Stephan.

Well, we've had a bit of everything so far.

What else would you expect from Pakistan?

20 runs off the over is just what Pakistan needed.

  14. Pak 60-3published at 10 overs

Babar has made it to three figures, but has all the timing of a broken metronome. No such problem for Shadab, though. He flicks the last ball of the first half fine for four. Twenty have come from the over. Here's Ffion Wynne.

Shadab Khan is looking a lot more confident now after a shaky start. His feet are starting to move nicely.

And again! Belted over the leg side. Pressure reversed.

The USA are still very much on top. Pakistan are probably thinking 140 will be a very good score. The fact Pakistan only have one spinner on this pitch means this is turning into a perfect storm for the USA.

  19. Pak 46-3published at 9 overs

Another super set by Harmeet and the wait for a boundary goes on. Babar is on nine after nine overs. Has a batter ever gone through the first 10 in a T20 without reaching double figures?

  20. Pak 43-3published at 8.4 overs

Harmeet is a loopy bowler. He's taken the pace off and is getting appreciable turn. Pakistan are trying to make room outside leg stump, but it's not doing much good.
