    Glamorgan 168-9

    Matthew Fisher again!

Once more it's a cracker. Very similar to the one that did for Asa Tribe. But this time, unlike Tribe who missed it completely, Andy Gorvin is caught on the back foot as he's struck in front.

Yorkshire can smell the win now.

  4. LANCASHIRE BEAT SOMERSET - SURREY ARE CHAMPIONSpublished at 11:03 British Summer Time 20 September

    Lancs v Somerset 224 a/o - target 393

    That's it!

James Rew tries an expansive drive and is clean bowled by Anderson Phillip who knocks the off stump out of the ground.

Somerset have been bowled out for 224 and have been beaten by 168 runs.

The West Country side started the week with three trophies to play for, now they have one - the One-Day Cup final at Trent Bridge on Sunday.

They pick up three points and could drop below Hampshire into third if the south coast side complete victory.

Lancashire take 19 points and go into the final round second-bottom, 15 points behind Nottinghamshire.

  5. wicket

WICKET Tribe b Fisher 58published at 11:02 British Summer Time 20 September

    Glamorgan 168-8

That's the one Yorkshire needed. Asa Tribe's gone. A beauty from Matthew Fisher. Slightly squares Tribe up, before leaving him a fraction off a length to tickle the top of off stump.

    Excellent knock from Tribe though.

    Two to go for Yorkshire.

    Lancs v Somerset 224-9 - target 393

One wicket to win it for Lancashire and take their survival hopes into the final round.

Surrey one ball from a hat-trick of Count Championship titles.

Luke Wells hits Jack Leach high on the pad, but no appeal.

The England spinner defends comfortably enough and that's a maiden.

Wells has just two first-class five-wicket hauls and must wait a while for a potential third.

James Rew turns down a run to Anderson Phillip's first two balls to keep the strike away from Jack Leach.

He muscles the fourth away and again declines a run.

Maybe Rew can farm the strike through the next 173 runs....

Then he cuts the fifth beautifully through backward point for four.

He goes to 31. The last is punched to mid-on.

No run. Leach will face Wells.

  8. wicket

WICKET Libby c Vince b Abbott 57published at 10:59 British Summer Time 20 September

    Worcestershire 133-7 - target 394

    Kyle Abbott is on one!

The South African has a wicket in back-to-back overs and it is a big one.

Jake Libby has the ability to frustrate and bat long, but Abbott has swung one in and taken the outside edge to first slip.

    Hampshire need three more wickets.

Luke Wells has been a nagging thorn in Somerset’s side, firstly with the bat and then with ball in hand on day three.

His middle-order knock of 130 wrestled control away from the visitors and set them a more challenging chase than they would have fancied.

Wells then sprinkled further salt in Somerset’s wound by breaking a 105-run second-wicket partnership, prompting a collapse.

He then kicked away another vestige of building hope by removing Kasey Aldridge in the final over of the day as Somerset sought the sanctuary of stumps.

This morning he's picked up two more and is on for a five-for.

James Rew turns Luke Wells away for a single to give Brett Randell the strike,

    Perhaps he wishes he hadn't!

Randell grins as he shoulders arms to another Wells googly which whistles past off-stump.

Then next ball Wells drops a little short and Randell looks to whack him again. He misses. Wells hits leg stump.

    Jack Leach in.

  13. 150 up for Glamorgan - and Tribepublished at 10:50 British Summer Time 20 September

    Glamorgan157-7, target 396 -

Glamorgan's rear-guard edges past the 150 mark as does Asa Tribe - in terms of ball faced.

The youngster has 51 from exactly 150 deliveries in the most adhesive innings of his fledgling career. In his four knocks prior to this he'd faced a total of 47 and bagged a pair in his last match against Sussex.

His county need him to chew up several hundred more today if they're going to stand any chance of delaying this Yorkshire charge.

Five overs gone this breezy morning. No alarms for the home side. Yorkshire's attack probing and, crucially, patient.

WICKET Brookes c Albert b Abbott 30published at 10:50 British Summer Time 20 September

    Worcestershire 132-6 - target 394

An absolute speccy at leg slip!

Ethan Brookes tries to pull Kyle Abbott around the corner but drags it around to Toby Albert.

Right-handed and diving, that is a wonderful catch from Albert.

"That was like Gordon Banks against Pele," says Dave Allen on BBC Radio Solent.

James Rew is on to the front foot again and drives Anderson Phillip through the offside for a single to move to 26.

Brett Randell ducks under a bouncer as the paceman bends his back.

    One from the over.

  16. Postpublished at 10:46 British Summer Time 20 September

    Lancs v Somerset 218-8 - target 393

Brett Randell gets off the mark first ball with a single to keep the strike for the next over.

Luke Wells induces a play and miss and Randell then goes back on his stumps to defend.

He drops short and Randell rocks back and pulls square through the leg side for four.

Another half-tracker is dispatched through midwicket for back-to-back boundaries.

Worth noting that Randell does have four first-class fifties. Just saying.

  17. Postpublished at 10:41 British Summer Time 20 September

"Anderson Phillip is a skiddy fast bowler and that one skidded through onto Craig Overton and he was pretty plumb - it hit his back leg just a foot or so in front of the stumps."

Liam Dawson is on - so that means three different bowlers in the first three overs of the day.

He goes up with a leg before appeal against Ethan Brookes with his second delivery.

Brookes loved a sweep in the first innings - around 70 of his 132 runs - but it almost cost him there, but that one was sliding down leg.

    Anderson PhillipImage source, Rex Features

Anderson Phillip opens up from the Brian Statham End as James Rew faces his first ball of the day.

The Somerset wicketkeeper is an attacking batter by nature and goes on the front foot second ball. The ball nips past his outside edge through to Matty Hurst.

Rew chips an attempted Yorker away for a single.

    Another wicket!!!

Phillip's fifth ball skids through and hits Craig Overton low on the back pad bang in front.

It's the hope that kills you.

  20. First over safely negotiated for Glamorganpublished at 10:38 British Summer Time 20 September

    Glamorgan 142-7, target 396

So much resting on the shoulders of Glamorgan's 20-year-old rookie Asa Tribe in Cardiff this morning if they are to resist this inevitable-looking Yorkshire win.

Unbeaten on his overnight 50 he and his partner James Harris didn't have to play at much in the opening over from Matthew Fisher that costs just a single.

But Ben Coad has just dropped short and offered the first hittable ball and Harris has jumped on it and cut it away for four.
