Another free hit - and this one is hit for four by Paige Scholfield.

Although Dean thinks she has Scholfield LBW off the last ball - not given though.

There's a few balls that are going aerial but into the hands of fielders.

They are sort of just placing them into the outfield.

Charli Knott to bowl with her cap on. Georgia Redmayne is not distracted as she hits one straight for four.

Sophia Dunkley clubs one out to midwicket for a single and that is the Stars' 100.

Linsey Smith then pulls off a fabulous stop on the boundary to save two runs off the last ball of the over.

  11. Postpublished at 12 overs

South East Stars 92-1 v Southern Vipers

Good stuff from Charlie Dean as she has Georgia Redmayne twice missing an attempted sweep.

But just when Dean looks set for a fine over, Dunkley lofts one between two deep legside fielders for a welcome boundary.

    Seven off the over.

A leg bye brings up a 50 partnership between Sophia Dunkley and Georgia Redmayne.

This is setting up a good platform to attack.

But Linsey Smith does a solid job for the Vipers to limit the over to just four runs.

  13. Postpublished at 10 overs

I think what we can safely say from the first semi-final is that a score of around 140 is not enough.

  16. Postpublished at 8 overs

South East Stars 63-1 v Southern Vipers

Charli Knott is the new bowler.

More good use of the feet from Sophia Dunkley as she gets to the pitch and hits a glorious shot for four over the top.

Six off the over and the Stars ticking along at just eight an over.

As we saw in the earlier game, wickets are the best way of slowing up the scoring.

Lauren Bell's extra pace is welcome for Georgia Redmayne as with a bit of width, she spears one through offside for her first boundary.

And off the last ball of the powerplay, Sophia Dunkley uses her feet and that gives her the momentum to launch one over long-on for a huge six.

12 off Bell's over and 22 off her two overs.

  19. 'A sense of fidgetiness from Smith'published at 14:51 British Summer Time 22 June

There was a sense of fidgetiness from Bryony Smith.

She didn't get the right line and length judgement.

  20. Postpublished at 5 overs

Australian Georgia Redmayne is the new batter but Freya Davies holds up her and Sophia Dunkley.
