South East Stars 32-1 v Southern Vipers

More spin as Charlie Dean is introduced into the attack.

But it is very much to Bryony Smith's liking as she is gifted a drag down for an easy four.

And she then clears the front foot out of the way and smashes it over midwicket for six!

But Dean wins out as she gets Smith caught at cover when she was trying to work the ball to leg.

A good wicket for the Vipers.

Lauren Bell to open the bowling at the other end, but her radar is off as she begins with a wide.

First boundary of the second semi-final as Sophia Dunkley plonks one straight down the ground for four. Cracking shot!

It's a liquorice allsorts over from Bell which goes for 10.

South East Stars 2-0 v Southern Vipers

    Nikki Chaudhuri
Surrey bowler on BBC local radio

This is going to be an exciting game.

On paper, the Southern Vipers have a very strong side.

The South East Stars have been performing brilliantly as well and in their game earlier this week at Hove the Vipers beat the South East Stars by 113 runs.

If that's the form that the Vipers are going to have today, then the South East Stars really need to bring their top game.

Welcome back, hope you made it for a brew as it is now time for the second semi-final.

The Blaze won the Midlands derby against Central Sparks, now it's time for the derby of the south as Southern Vipers face South East Stars.

  12. Postpublished at 14:05 British Summer Time 22 June

Right, just 25 minutes until the second semi-final between South East Stars and defending, two-time champions Southern Vipers.

We're just grabbing a brew and a bite before that one kicks off, back shortly.

  13. 'Whoever it is, we'll be ready'published at 14:00 British Summer Time 22 June

    The Blaze 142-5 v Central Sparks 140-9

The Blaze batter Kathryn Bryce after her team's five-wicket victory over Central Sparks:

"We knew the rest of the competition was irrelevant and that we had to get the job done today.

"Sparks got off to a really good start with the bat and batted really well but I think Josie (Groves) bowled brilliantly through that middle period for us only to be chasing 140 - it was a fantastic effort.

"It's been a brilliant few months for me and things have been going really well so hopefully we've got one more good game in us today.

"I think whoever it is [in the final], it will be a good game - it would be great to get the win over them [defending champions Vipers] but whoever it is, we'll be ready."

  14. 'Sparks needed to break Beaumont and Bryce partnership earlier'published at 13:53 British Summer Time 22 June

    The Blaze 142-5 v Central Sparks 140-9

    Kevan James
    BBC local radio cricket commentator

We probably shouldn't be surprised - The Blaze are the number one team going into today.

The chase was set up by Tammy Beaumont and Kathryn Bryce putting on 58 for the second wicket in eight overs - they were always the strongest batting pair and the Sparks really did need to get rid of one or both of those a little bit earlier than they did.

Josie Groves' cameo of 14 off four balls sees The Blaze home by five wickets with two overs to spare.

Ultimately, a comfortable win for the side who topped the group stages.

They kept chipping away at the Central Sparks' batting, while Tammy Beaumont and Kathryn Bryce pushed them to the edge of victory.

  16. THE BLAZE BEAT CENTRAL SPARKS BY FIVE WICKETSpublished at 18 overs
    Breaking

    The Blaze 142-5 v Central Sparks 140-9

Katie George begins her final over.

She starts with a dot. Then Ella Claridge gets the second ball away for a single.

Josie Groves uses her feet and clubs one straight for two. All very useful.

Lovely stuff from the new batter as she uses her feet again and hits one straight over the bowler's head for four.

George goes short in response and Groves is waiting to steer it behind square for another boundary.

And Groves makes it three fours in a row as a low full toss is fired through the offside to win the game.

  17. 'The Blaze are favourites at this stage'published at 13:42 British Summer Time 22 June

    The Blaze 127-5 - Target 141

    Kevan James
    BBC local radio cricket commentator

It's a good catch, low down from Eve Jones and it keeps the Sparks in the game, just about.

I would say The Blaze are favourites now at this stage.

  18. wicket

    WICKET K Bryce c Jones b Baker 44published at 17 overs

    The Blaze 127-5 - Target 141

Hannah Baker begins her final over with a wide. Again costly as the Sparks need dots.

Crunch, fine shot from Kathryn Bryce. In the air, but that is too powerful for Georgia Davis at mid-off and it flies to the fence.

But captain Eve Jones puts herself at mid-off and is in the right place to take the catch when Bryce tries a repeat.

Bryce cannot see The Blaze home.

  19. 'Graham was looking a threat'published at 13:35 British Summer Time 22 June

    The Blaze 118-4 - Target 141

    Clive Eakin
    BBC local radio cricket commentator

Heather Graham's attempts to go for the big shots and take Blaze almost to the final has been nipped in the bud.

A big wicket, Graham was looking a threat.

  20. Postpublished at 16 overs

    The Blaze 118-4 - Target 141

Ella Claridge joins Kathryn Bryce at the crease.

Courtney Webb sends down a wide, very costly. And Claridge gets two off that extra delivery.

The target is 23 off 24 balls.
