Despite the rain... and the forecasts of more rain, we got there in the end! And so did Glamorgan. Read our report here.

The Welsh county become the first to win the One Day Cup on more than one occasion, taking the trophy back across the Severn Bridge for the second time in four years.

But it's hard not to feel for Somerset who, just 10 days ago, had genuine hopes of winning three trophies - and end the campaign without any of them.

Yet while the County Championship title is already decided, there are other issues outstanding - namely relegation and promotion. And just one round of matches left to settle those, starting on Thursday.

Make sure you join us again then, from 10:00 BST!

Glamorgan beat Somerset by 15 runs

Glamorgan captain Kiran Carlson speaking to Sky Sports:

"It is a great feeling to lift the trophy again and that is what we set out to do when we came to Trent Bridge. So massive credit to all here and the groundstaff for letting us get a game in.

"We are just really pleased for all the fans who stayed after yesterday's washout to see us lift the trophy again after doing it in 2021.

"I am pleased for them that they have something to celebrate with us and glad we could bring it home to Wales."

  3. 'It wasn't meant to be'published at 14:48 British Summer Time 23 September

Glamorgan beat Somerset by 15 runs

Somerset skipper Sean Dickson speaking to Sky Sports:

"Hats off to these young guys. At the end of the day we lose 11 players to the Hundred so I am so proud of these guys – they have done an amazing job but it just wasn't meant to be.

"We started really well but with the wet conditions our bowlers were slipping and sliding. We opted to play though and that is the medicine we take. We tried our best but all credit to Glamorgan.

"We were going well with Archie and myself but it just shows what a couple of wickets can do as it just changes the momentum of the game unfortunately but hats off again. I am really proud of the guys."

  4. 'It was tight but we got over the line'published at 14:44 British Summer Time 23 September

Somerset beat Glamorgan by 15 runs

Glamorgan batter Sam Northeast speaking to Sky Sports:

"It does feel amazing to have the win and a medal. To even just get the game on was amazing because we didn't even think we would get a game. It was tight in the end but great we got over the line.

"We didn't quite know what a good score was to be honest as it did a little bit early on. But we got a bit of momentum going at the backend and then the boys did a great job to defend it.

"Glamorgan has been a great club to move to and I have really enjoyed my time here. A bit of experience out there really helped me but it has been a really enjoyable day and it is great to get the win."

  5. 'We got the job done'published at 14:40 British Summer Time 23 September

Glamorgan's Dan Douthwaite speaking to Sky Sports:

"On paper it doesn't sound too bad but having played against Ben Green quite a bit I know if I miss he would have got me away and it would have looked a bit tougher with a few balls to go.

"Sean Dickson scared all 11 of us big time not to mention all the fans watching at home so it was really good to get him when we did and tighten the screws.

"It was a bit closer going into that final over than it looked at certain points but thankfully we got the job done.

"At certain times this season when we have looked like we are struggling someone has stepped up and Sam Northeast did that today."

  6. 'Glamorgan will hope this is only the start'published at 14:33 British Summer Time 23 September

Glamorgan were at sixes and sevens early on but then the steady hand on the tiller of Sam Northeast, unbeaten on 63, a valuable contribution from Billy Root and Timm van der Gugten’s crucial 25 right at the end made it seem always a tall order for Somerset.

Glamorgan pick up the One Day trophy for the second time in four years and will be hoping this is only the start, hoping that they can carry on and take a few steps forward next season to bigger and better things.

  7. 'Disappointing end for Somerset'published at 14:25 British Summer Time 23 September

Many congratulations to Glamorgan who thoroughly deserve their win.

The difference really between the two sides is that Glamorgan are fielding virtually their T20 side in a 20-over game of cricket whereas the Somerset side is their 50-over side and I think that difference showed this afternoon.

It’s a bitterly disappointing end to the season for Somerset – in the hunt for all three trophies and now beaten again here today.

Dan Douthwaite is bowling the final over, his first ball is on leg stump and Ben Green swings but doesn't connect and it thumps his pad.

The lbw appeal is turned down. 23 off five balls. Unlikely.

  14. Postpublished at 18.6 overs

    Somerset 162-5 (target 187) v Glamorgan 186-7

Vaughan swings to mid on but it not timed. There is a close call for a run out but the young Somerset all-rounder is home. Two runs.

    No run for Ben Green.

  20. Postpublished at 18 overs

    Somerset 158-5 (target 187) v Glamorgan

Glamorgan should have another wicket as Ben Green swings high onto the off side and Kiran Carlson can't judge the catch - then there's a run-out opportunity that goes begging in the aftermath.

Still more drama to come in these last 12 balls, you feel!
