The question is, does Matthew meet the standard? This is an elite, occasional football quiz and I'm a past winner.

Also, he lives in an entirely different city, but if he fancies hanging around in Manchester he can always stay in my spare room.

He'll just have to work his way round the teetering piles of university coursework and cases for DVDs I haven't watched in 10 years.

Mike Peter, who has just remembered to invite me to a football quiz this evening, is back to take over.

  3. 'We gave them too many runs at the end'published at 13:55 BST

Australia bowler Georgia Wareham: "They probably got a little bit too many at the end. We lost our way at the back end but our bowlers did way to stick to our plans.

"It is nice to be back in the middle and it was a nice wicket to bowl on.

"Alana King and I bring different things but I took a lesson from what she was bowling and how much success was getting."

On batting: "We have got to start well and we have done that before. We are confident in our top-order that we can bat this down."

Bangladesh should be really proud of that effort and this is a total to bowl at. They will feel they have an opportunity.

Australia look a bit frustrated leaving the field, understandably.

  5. Interval - Ban 198-9published at 50 overs

A single from the last. Bangladesh will probably take that in the end. It's a pretty god effort, largely because of Sobhana Mostary's 66 not out.

Australia were sloppy in dropping a series of catches. Will they be more professional with the bat?

  6. Ban 197-9published at 49.5 overs

Mostary turns down a single from the penultimate ball...

  7. Ban 197-9published at 49.4 overs

Chipped back down the ground for two. The Bangladesh players are beating their hands to applaud in the dressing room.

  8. Not outpublished at 13:46 BST

Fariha Islam Trisna is back by half an inch! On we go.

  9. Umpire reviewpublished at 49.3 overs

Ah. Is this the final wicket as Bangladesh try to get Mostary back on strike?

  10. dropped catch

Mostary dropped on 55published at 49.2 overs

Almost a carbon copy. This one was slightly easier for Georgia Wareham but it goes for four.

We have come to expect that those chances will be taken by the Australia players but that was a full 'feet off the floor' dive.

  12. dropped catch

Mostary dropped by 55published at 49.1 overs

We have critcised Australia's fielding today but this would have been one of THE great catches by Annabel Sutherland in the deep.

  13. Ban 187-9published at 49 overs

One over left. Sobhana Mostary is on strike.

Australia are still massive favourites, obviously, but a flurry here and you never know.

There has been some sloppiness creeping into Australia's play here.

Bangladesh players are showing their potential and it is a shame they could not have built a partnership in the middle phase.

  15. Ban 186-9published at 48.3 overs

Onto the back foot and slammed away to Sobhana Mostary! 200 is almost in touching distance.

  16. Ban 182-9published at 48.1 overs

Now five wides to Bangladesh. Australia are not happy about it. They think this has flicked pad or bat but either way it has gone to the boundary.

  17. Ban 176-9published at 48 overs

    Australia miss another chance.

Fariha Islam Trisna is sent back as she tries to steal a single at the end of the over. She is way out of her ground as the throw comes in but Ash Gardner is not in position to collect Tahlia McGrath's throw.

Sobhana Mostary has been the mainstay as wickets have fallen around her. She is playing a really important hand here.

Sliced for four again! Sobhana Mostary gets her moment to remember. She raises her bat having made fifty against the great Australians.

  20. Ban 172-9published at 47.2 overs

Ash Gardner's last impact was to take a catch in the deep but she has started with two wides here.
