  2. 'Credit to everyone'published at 16:05 British Summer Time 9 September

England captain Kate Cross: "I am enjoying it. When Tammy puts in a performance like that a little bit of pressure is taken off. We earned the right to be able to have the back end we did."

On her own bowling: "It is ironic. I have been trying to swing ball more recently and today I held the seam up and tried to wobble it. Our bowling per wasn't where wanted to be [in the first ODI] and we knew we needed to tighten our lines. Credit to everyone. They all put their hands up."

  3. 'Definitely a down day'published at 16:02 British Summer Time 9 September

Ireland captain Gaby Lewis, speaking to Cricket Ireland: "Cricket is a sport of ups and downs, and today was definitely a down day.

"We are a very young squad, we're learning on the go. We've got three bowlers under the age of 19, it's very hard on them.

"Sometimes you have to take your hat off and say well done to the opposition, it wasn't our day today.

"We didn't bowl in the right areas, probably played into their strengths, but we'll look to rectify that in the next game. We'll switch off, put this behind us and we want to put in a performance for Ireland to be proud of next."

  4. 'Hungry to cash in'published at 16:00 British Summer Time 9 September

England batter Tammy Beaumont: "I found it tough early on and Ireland were bowling tight lines with a slower pace on the pitch. I think to have someone in at the back end can accelerate the game.

"Every time I felt like we were going well, we'd lose a wicket. I had to keep bringing it back. Freya Kemp really showed her class.

"Opening the batting for as long as I have you just get used to it. You just have to respect that. It's the game and it just makes you more hungry to cash in."

Tammy Beaumont was relatively measured in reaching three figures. She got to her hundred in 117 balls.

The opener then kicked on to finish 150 not out from 139 balls.

It is her 10th ODI century, making her the third woman to reach that landmark after Meg Lanning and Suzie Bates.

Beaumont put on partnerships throughout but the biggest was a stand of 101 with Freya Kemp, who made 65.

It's a wonderful day for England, but a tough one for Ireland.

They need to find a way to deal with the England bowlers and tighten their batting.

Victory means England clinch the series with one game to play.

The 275-run margin is England's largest in terms of runs in women's ODIs, beating the game against Denmark we mentioned earlier.

Ireland have been bowled out. They have been out-played in all formats of the game today.

But there is the record. Ireland are bowled out for 45 - their lowest total in ODIs. A tough, tough day.

  11. Ire 45-9published at 16.4 overs

Two to Freya Sargent takes Ireland within one of their record low score.

  12. Ire 43-9published at 16 overs

    Target 321

Tougher tests will come, obviously, but a fit and firing Freya Kemp would make such a difference to England.

Left-arm variation, decent pace and from a good height. The so-called 'point of difference'.

One Maguire replaces another as Aimee Maguire, Jane's younger sister joins Freya Sargent in the middle.

    And another!

Jane Maguire reckons this has pitched outside leg stump but the umpire disagrees. Freya Kemp has her second and England are one away.

We don't mind seeing some defiance here from Freya Sargent.

  17. Ire 43-8published at 15 overs

    Nice shot.

Freya Sargent hits Georgia Davis back over her head for four. That's one of the better shots we have seen and Issy Wong goes flying into the advertising boards as she attempts to haul the ball in.

  18. Ire 35-8published at 14 overs

    Target 321

Ireland put up a good fight in the first ODI on Saturday but this has been totally one-sided. We should point out this is also a very young and inexperienced team, without the backing the England players receive off the field.

These two batters are 21 and 18 years old.

Freya Kemp finds the line, finds the length and takes Raymond-Hoey's wicket.

Gone. That record low total really is under threat now.

Freya Kemp, still in the early stages of her bowling comeback after injury, beats Una Raymond-Hoey with an inswinger.

Raymond-Hoey had hung around for 37 balls but was done by a little bit of movement there.
