Summary

  1. 6 runs

    Eng 316-4published at 47.1 overs

Ah, cheers Nat, there's that boundary.

Sciver-Brunt smacks James' first delivery down the ground, with the ball landing flat on the ropes.

A check from the third umpire, then two arms are lofted in the middle - that's six.

  2. Eng 310-4published at 47 overs

Plenty of runs but no boundaries of Afy Fletcher's eighth over.

10 off it, including a swept three for Capsey, who also picks up a pair of twos.

Capsey and Sciver-Brunt are building a nice partnership, they will want to add about 50 runs.

West Indies' highest total against England in ODIs is only 235 however.

  5. Eng 300-4published at 46 overs

Here's opening bowler Zaida James, she's bowled five overs thus far.

Capsey drives her first delivery smoothly past extra cover for four, before Sciver-Brunt finds three with a chip over mid-off.

A single for Capsey down to long-on brings up England's 300 from James' final delivery.

  6. Eng 292-4published at 45 overs

Not a bad over from Afy Fletcher, just the five from it.

England will want to push a fair way past 300, although this total is likely already too challenging for this West Indies line-up.

Quick hands from Capsey, she got into position nice and early for that boundary. Probably slightly fuller than she expected, but she adapted quickly.

  8. Eng 287-4published at 44 overs

Back-to-back boundaries for Capsey, reverse sweeping past point then seeing her her lofted shot beat Shabika Gajnabi at long-on.

The fielder could have done better there - it would have been a very difficult catch, but she should have at least blocked off the four.

  9. Eng 276-4published at 43 overs

Alice Capsey at six, recalled to the ODI squad after Heather Knight was ruled out for the summer with a hamstring injury.

She gets a single out in the covers.

Sophia Dunkley punches her thigh guard in frustration. It was a little step across the stumps and she tried to manipulate that field, but it goes straight into her stumps.

A bit of a collapse here for England. Dunkley has gone for the paddle sweep but the ball was too wide. Slightly unlucky.

    Tapped onto her own stumps!

A loopy delivery outside off from spinner Afy Fletcher, Sophia Dunkley steps across and sweeps onto the base of the wicket.

The England batters had played rather elaborately off the balls preceding that wicket, with Dunkley reverse sweeping for three and Sciver-Brunt finding two with a lap shot over her shoulder.

  13. Eng 268-3published at 42 overs

A first boundary for Nat Sciver-Brunt, heaving Karishma Ramharack through mid-wicket.

She then adds four more from the next delivery, pulling the spinner to the ropes - two fielders converge but can't make it.

  14. Eng 258-3published at 41 overs

    Another over, five more runs.

That's the end of captain Hayley Matthews, she finishes with figures of 2-49 from her 10 overs.

West Indies have got a little opening here. Two early batters are in. Can they get one more wicket and then get into the all-rounders? That's what they will be hoping for.

  16. Eng 253-3published at 40 overs

Two new batters in for England - Sciver-Brunt on three, Dunkley on one - they'll want to get their eye in swiftly and then push on for a big score.

They take five singles from Karishma Ramharack's over, the second of them bringing up the team's 250.

  17. Eng 248-3published at 39 overs

Sophia Dunkley is in at number five and she gets under way with a single out to mid-wicket.

Let's just take one last look at Amy Jones' century-making moment, shall we?

It was there to be hit so she is unlucky. A run a ball century is outstanding however. She was really ticking that scoreboard over when Beaumont was slightly stagnant.

What a welcome back to international cricket.

Amy Jones' fantastic innings comes to an end, she just couldn't beat the fielder on the boundary. The crowd are on their feet for her as she walks off.

Amy Jones' innings finally comes to an end.

The England opener goes to hit Hayley Matthews over mid-wicket and doesn't quite get enough on her shot.

Shabika Gajnabi is the fielder out there and she takes a relatively simple catch.

Jones departs from a fantastic 122 from 121 deliveries.
