Oval Invincibles captain Lauren Winfield-Hill speaking to BBC Sport: "A win and a platinum duck - that's me, full of surprises! I thought it was a great performance, obviously it wasn't the ideal start but that's the way the game goes sometimes. I thought it was a really good toss to win, particularly on a used surface, because it was pretty slow out there for The Oval.

"We had a good performance last game so we wanted to turn it up another notch today - and I think we did that.

"I think being captain really helped me to move on from getting out that early because your focus shifts to making everyone else 10% better pretty quickly and to thinking tactically.

"That's the really nice thing about being an all-rounder and being captain because you always have another chance to influence the game. It helps me park my blunders pretty quick! I don't know that I want to watch it back."

  3. 'Being an all-rounder the best job in world'published at 17:27 British Summer Time

Oval Invincible's Alice Capsey speaking to BBC Sport on her batting performance: "Felt pretty nice batting. Welsh Fire bowled really well for that first block and it was just about absorbing pressure and then building a partnership with Meg Lanning. She’s been batting well so it was pretty easy to stay calm when I was out there with her.

"With my role at number three, I’ve done it a lot for this team trying to make an impact when I go in. If I can go big, go big. It’s about getting the team in the best position possible."

On picking up key wickets: "I probably haven’t bowled a lot over the last couple years and it’s something I wanted to do more. So I’ve been speaking to the coaches to get more of the ball. For me it was just assessing conditions when I was batting and trying to put that into my bowling.

"Being an all rounder is the best job in the world. You get two chances at everything and you can take your learnings from the first innings into the second innings and vice-versa. I’m very lucky to be an all-rounder."

Oval Invincibles just looked like a team who are used to winning.

They have been in that position where the game can go either way before, but this time Welsh Fire crumbled and Oval Invincibles came out on top.

Their key players stood up, which was really important, and the wickets were spread around. They just looked like a really well-oiled unit.

Salute to Lauren Winfield-Hill. After suffering that platinum duck on the first ball of the game and having to watch 100 deliveries go by, her captaincy was on the mark for Invincibles.

Although she didn't do it with the bat this afternoon, as a leader she definitely did it. She was very good tactically.

They chase 141 with four balls to spare and Tom Moores, who has only been added to their squad as a temporary replacement after injuries, is the match-winner.

Back-to-back dominant wins for Oval Invincibles! They look to have put those two opening defeats firmly behind them now.

They have put out a really fine all-round performance, putting runs on the board and being comprehensive in the field. There were contributions from pretty much all of their bowlers.

They have been buzzing around the field this afternoon.

This isn't a good position to be in...

You cannot fault the backend of the batting line-up for having a crack here though. It is all but done now.

A brilliant all-round performance from Alice Capsey today.

She has played absolutely brilliantly and she is looking really confident with both the bat and the ball.

She is one of England's important all-rounders so it is so important for her to get some runs and wickets on the board, but most importantly get confidence back into her game.

It was an impossible task really for Georgia Davis. She was brought into the side today as a bowler, but only bowled five balls in Welsh Fire's innings, and then she was handed a really difficult equation with that bat.

The top order unfortunately haven't been able to provide the platform for Welsh Fire today and Oval Invincibles look on the other side of the spectrum. They are completely confident.

With pressure building, Georgia Davis only manages to find the grateful hands of Alice Capsey at mid-wicket.
