  1. Brave chip away with Banton key for Rocketspublished at 50 balls remaining

Men's competition: Trent Rockets 72-4 v Southern Brave (target 141)

Southern Brave are chipping away nicely here.

Spinners Danny Briggs and Michael Bracewell have removed Max Holden and David Willey to put the visitors on top.

A reminder that Adam Hose won't bat too after suffering a dislocated ankle while fielding.

Tom Banton is unbeaten on 32 while Tom Moores has just hit a huge six.

Rockets need 69 off 50 balls.

    Another Fire wicket falls.

This time, it's Jess Jonassen who falls victim to a brilliant catch from Paige Scholfield.

Jonassen tries to play Alice Capsey through mid-off and Scholfield pounces, diving to her left and doing well to hold on to the ball.

  3. Fire 66-3published at 50 balls left

    Need 85 more

Halfway through this innings and this could still be anyone's game.

Fire will confident as far as Sophia Dunkley is there in the middle.

But Invincibles will be hoping to take her wicket sooner rather than later.

  4. Fire 61-3published at 55 balls left

    Need 90 more

Not hat-trick for Marizanne Kapp but that's an over where the momentum swung towards Invincibles.

She's done a brilliant job here and finishes with 2-24.

Jess Jonassen is the new batter in for Fire.

Talismanic is a word thrown around and Marizanne Kapp embodies it. She did it with bat and she's done it in field. She's been thrown the ball for her last ball and she's gone 'bang-bang'. On a hat-trick now.

  6. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 57 balls left

    Elwiss b Kapp 0 (Fire 58-3)

Marizanne Kapp is on a hat-trick!

Georgia Elwiss' stay in the middle is a short one as Kapp's delivery nips back in and clatters the stumps.

Two brilliant balls from the South African and two deserved wickets!

Huge wicket for Oval Invincibles. Tammy Beaumont is such a devastating player. She just skipped through her defences a bit quicker, ducked a bit too low and it was on her before she could get her bat on it.

  8. wicket

Marizanne Kapp was confident she had gotten Tammy Beaumont.

And the ball tracking agrees. The Fire captain walks back to the dugout!

  9. Ahmed falls to brilliant Roy catchpublished at 68 balls remaining

Men's competition: Trent Rockets 51-2 v Southern Brave (target 141)

    Great catch!

Rehan Ahmed looks to go down the ground and holds the pose, but that's more beautiful than the shot itself.

It goes more up in the air than far, but it still needs Jason Roy to run back from mid-on and take a brilliant diving catch over his shoulder.

Max Holden is the new batter with Rockets needing 90 more off 68 balls.

My gut instinct is that Tammy Beaumont's crouched. It looks close.

  11. Invincibles reviewpublished at 58 balls left

    Fire 58-1

Marizanne Kapp will finish her allocation here.

And has a big shout for lbw against Tammy Beaumont.

The umpire is not interested but Invincibles will send it upstairs.

  12. How's stat?!published at 16:27 British Summer Time

This is a really strong start for Welsh Fire, bringing up 50 in just 34 balls. That's their fifth quickest team half-century, and their fastest in two years.

  13. Fire 58-1published at 60 balls left

    Need 93 more

A change of ends for Amanda-Jade Wellington.

The Australian leg-spinner registered 2-27 in Invincibles' win over Birmingham Phoenix earlier this week.

She will hope to repeat her magic again today but Fire add five more to their total.

That's a lovely shot from Sophia Dunkley. She's in great form this year. Stands and delivers.

  15. Fire 53-1published at 65 balls left

    Need 98 more

England fast Tash Farrant already has four wickets in The Hundred this season and takes the ball now.

She bowls two good balls but Sophia Dunkley then heaves her over mid-off - that's their first four after two sets without one.

Fire now need 98 to win from 65 balls.

  16. Rockets edge powerplaypublished at 75 balls remaining

Men's competition: Trent Rockets 41-1 v Southern Brave (target 141)

Rehan Ahmed joined Tom Banton in the middle after the wicket of Joe Root and he's hit Tymal Mills for a couple of fours already.

Banton is looking good too latching onto a short ball from Jofra Archer and crunching a pull to the the fence. Ahmed then did the same to end the powerplay.

Rockets have probably edged it. They need 100 from 75 balls.

  17. Fire 43-1published at 70 balls left

    Need 108 more

Invincibles captain Lauren Winfield-Hill brings back Marizanne Kapp for her third of four sets.

She keeps things tight but there's some good running between the wickets from the Fire batters as they take seven runs off the five balls.

You just feel that Welsh Fire started to get going until that wicket.

  19. Fire 36-1published at 75 balls left

    Need 115 more

Tammy Beaumont is the next batter in and Amanda-Jade Wellington almost finds an edge of the Fire captain first ball.

We have 25 balls bowled now, meaning it's the end of the powerplay.

I think Amanda-Jade Wellington will be crucial. She saw how Hayley Matthews bowls, really taking the pace off and she's doing the same. There's no pace on that ball. Wellington is going to be tricky to get away.
