This over does seem like a turning point in this run chase. One thing India didn't want was to let Australia to get off to such a start.

Alyssa Healy has a high boundary percentage in ODI cricket, and she is living up to the reputation today.

  6. Aus 56-0published at 7.3 overs

I wonder if India will come to rue not batting those last seven balls.

Alyssa Healy twice pulls Kranti Gaud through mid-wicket for four.

Harmanpreet Kaur responds to back-to-back boundaries by putting two fielders out on the leg-side boundary.

Australia are not hanging around here. They know they have to chase down the record score, and they have made fantastic inroads to that target.

India skipper Harmanpreet Kaur turns to spin in the form of Sneh Rana, who is willing to give it a bit of air.

Phoebe Litchfield has her eye in, though, and smokes the final ball of Rana's over for six down the ground.

At this stage, it is about patience and building the platform for Australia, very much like how India did. Once they have a platform, then they can start to accelerate and chip away at the target.

What India didn't do was nobody went big. Smriti Mandhana was the top scorer with 80, but she didn't get a hundred. That's what Australia would be looking to do.

  11. Aus 33-0published at 6 overs

Alyssa Healy has kept wicket for 48.5 overs but looks as fresh as daisy here.

The Aussie captain stylishly square drives Kranti Gaud to the boundary for four.

It was hit slightly off the ground by Alyssa Healy, but it was not really catchable for Amanjot Kaur. But she would have been disappointed in not being able to prevent it from going for a four.

  13. Aus 25-0published at 5 overs

Alyssa Healy opens up her boundary account off Amanjot Kaur during a profitable over for Australia.

Healy pulls the first ball of Kaur's third over through midwicket for four.

The boundary, though, she drills it straight offering Kaur a caught-and-bowled chance, but the India seamer cannot get her hands to the ball in time.

Great start from Kranti Gaud and getting a high five from Harmanpreet Kaur. Watchful start from Australia.

  15. Aus 16-0published at 4 overs

Harmanpreet Kaur and Kranti Gaud have a brief conflab with Sue Redfern about the ball but the English umpire gives them short shrift.

A nice it of movement off the pitch from Gaud's third ball which nips to beat the edge of Phoebe Litchfield's bat.

The India seamer keeps Litchfield honest for the remainder of the over. A maiden.

Hard to overstate how BIG this feels. Barely a spare seat, and the noise when Smriti Mandhana even looks in this direction is deafening. The world around women’s cricket is changing at lightning speed.

Alyssa Healy's habit of planting her front foot and flicking the ball to leg keeps Amanjot Kaur targeting a fuller length, in search of an lbw.

Phoebe Litchfield skips down the track to the India seamer but is beaten on the outside edge of her bat.

Deepti Sharma with the dive, and Phoebe Litchfield knows she is very lucky to get away with that one.

  19. Aus 13-0published at 2 overs

Kranti Gaud finds a flicker of swing.

Phoebe Litchfield looks in pretty good touch, though. The left-hander gets a thick-ish edge on a wider delivery from Gaud which races past the fielder at short third and away for four.

India's catching has been a concern so far; 23 chances created, and a few of them have been put down.
