You can see what Linsey Smith was trying to do there - pushing the ball into the pads.

Looked like it was going down leg, was going down leg.

Not sure what they saw in that one, to be honest.

The West Indies took a leg bye off that as well.

  3. Umpire reviewpublished at 24.2 overs

    A third wicket for Smith?

The umpire isn't interested but England will take a look, they think they have Shabika Gajnabi lbw.

  4. WI 93-3published at 24 overs

    Three singles off Capsey's over.

    Required run-rate: 10.53.

  5. WI 90-3published at 23 overs

Shabika Gajnabi is the new batter, and she defends the last two balls of the over.

Smith has figures of 2-13 from her six overs - chance of another five-fer?

A little bit of light for West Indies with that innings. Yes, it's a soft dismissal but Grimmond is a young player and her performance is something West Indies can hold on to.

Grimmond's debut innings comes to an end.

The 20-year-old opener lifts Smith's delivery out to Kate Cross at long-on and that's that.

    She departs for a 72-ball 53.

Spin at both ends now as Alice Capsey replaces Lauren Filer.

Grimmond spoons her third delivery into the air but it lands safe, and is then caught on the pad - some appeals but England decide not to review.

  9. WI 86-2published at 21 overs

Grimmond and Taylor work Linsey Smith around for four singles.

For the record, the required run-rate is 9.68 and the West Indies are currently going at 4.09.

We know West Indies won't win this game - England are the better team - but she'll take hitting a half-century off 64 balls on debut.

There's the half-century on debut for Realeanna Grimmond!

The 20-year-old cracks a single out to the fielder at deep square and lifts her bat.

She's stepped up impressively when facing the formidable task of stepping into the shoes of absent captain Hayley Matthews.

That was excellent fielding at deep mid-wicket by Alice Capsey; she had to time the dive perfectly. We didn't see that standard of fielding in the first innings.

  13. WI 81-2published at 19.5 overs

Grimmond works Filer towards mid-wicket and might have had hopes of a boundary, but Alice Capsey does well to stop the ball on the dive and the batters can only run two.

The opener gets her four from the penultimate ball of the over, edging past the keeper and moves to 49 on ODI debut.

I understand Grimmond wants to bat through and let others play their shots but there was no effort to fashion anything in that last over to Linsey Smith.

  15. WI 73-2published at 19 overs

A first four for Taylor, lashing Smith through mid-wicket.

Also the first boundary since Grimmond's six early in the 11th over.

The West Indies now, realistically are they going to get 300 runs? Probably not, they should set themselves some targets like getting Realeanna Grimmond a century on debut.

Grimmond faces all of Filer's fourth over, a two out to the long-off boundary the only runs from the innings.

It almost reached the ropes but Kate Cross chased the ball down well.

I feel as if Stafanie Taylor is a bit of a Ramiz Raja. Loves to bat but disappears a bit when fielding.

Stafanie Taylor is the highest ODI run scorer for the West Indies. She's also taken the second most wickets for them in ODIs but hasn't bowled in her past six matches.
