Shubman Gill finally connects with one, bludgeoning Ben Dwarshuis past mid-on for his first four of the day.

  2. Ind 17-0published at 4 overs

    Target 265

Ooooh, I think I'll be asking Rohit Sharma for the lottery numbers based on his luck today.

Nathan Ellis' fourth delivery is a corker and whistles past Rohit's outside edge and through to the keeper.

    Two runs from the over.

It was tough but he'd done all the hard work by getting his hands to it. You thought he'd then balance himself somehow.

Another life for Rohit Sharma. Lucky guy.

It's a tough chance for Marnus Labuschagne, who charges from mid-off and puts in the dive. He gets two hands to it but can't hold on. It willl definitely go down as a drop.

It was a good over from Ben Dwarshuis, who mixed up his length nicely to frustrate Shubman Gill, and he should have been rewarded with a wicket.

Every run is going to be cheered here until India have got to their target or they are bowled out.

I can see one Australia shirt in the crowd away to my left. The rest is very blue.

It's a pitch where you can chop on - I say that because Shubman Gill is such a correct player.

  7. Ind 15-0published at 2 overs

    Target 265

Rohit Sharma and India are flying.

Australia cannot afford to give up chances like that.

Cooper Connolly's miserable day gets worse... he got a nine-ball duck earlier too!

    Ind 13-0

Cooper Connolly has dropped Rohit Sharma at backward point! He's having an awful day.

One ball after bashing Nathan Ellis for six, Rohit is handed an early lifeline. He absolutely hacks an ugly cut low to Connolly and he really should have clung on to that.

Not the smartest bowling from Nathan Ellis, feeding Rohit's pull - the Indian skipper has scored 1435 runs in ODI cricket with that stroke, the most productive shot in the format since records began

That was all upper body strength to manoeuvre the ball for six.

He telegraphs his intentions and bangs Nathan Ellis for six.

Australia are not going to restrict India in 50 overs so need 10 wickets.

  15. Ind 7-0published at 1 over

    Target 265

India are up and running. A boundary and a quick three from the bat of Rohit Sharma. On a faster outfield, it would've been two fours.

  16. Ind 4-0published at 0.2 overs

Rohit Sharma is quickly off the mark. It's down the leg-side Ben Dwarshuis, a gift of a ball really, and India's captain turns it away for four.

Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill are making their way to the middle.

Ben Dwarshuis, rocking his French Kiss-era Kevin Kline moustache, looks like he'll be opening the bowling. (It's a very gentle rom-com with Meg Ryan - give it a watch).

This is an inexperienced Australia bowling attack against batters who smash it. For me, India are favourites.

This is going to be fascinating. A few people I have spoken to think Australia are 20-30 runs short but the other side of the coin is that they have runs on the board and there's the pressure of the chase in a semi-final.

The man for the chase. Any ODI chase...

Can India chase 265 to book their spot in Sunday's final or have Australia got enough runs on the board? Will Virat Kohli be the key man or will someone else steal the show?

    Let us know your thoughts.
