The sun is trying to make a rare appearance here.

I'm taking that as a positive sign for Scotland's hopes.

    General view of the Grange
  2. AUS 66-2 (target 150)published at 8.1 overs

It's been almost five overs since a wicket. Scotland could do with one now to upset this Australian momentum.

Mark Watt is on, and forces an edge from Mitch Marsh that drops well short of any fielder.

  3. Postpublished at 7.1 overs

    AUS 56-2 (target 150)

Safyaan Sharif is on for a spell, and his first ball results in a big appeal from Matthew Cross behind the stumps.

Cam Green took a rather unsightly swipe at it, and Cross' appeal grew legs when the crowd picked up on it - but the umpire only signalled for a wide.

  4. 6 runs

    Postpublished at 6.1 overs

    AUS 51-2 (target 150)

Chris Sole is dispatched in similar fashion by Mitch Marsh. Australia are thoroughly back on track.

  5. 6 runs

    AUS 44-2published at 6 overs

Another big shot, this time from Cam Green. It goes in the same direction.

Much better from Australia in that over. That pushes them much closer to victory.

Chris Sole into the attack. He was on fire yesterday.

  6. Watch McMullen's 'outstanding' catchpublished at 16:13 British Summer Time 7 September

    AUS 35-2 (target 150)

  7. 6 runs

    AUS 35-2published at 5.1 overs

That's more like it from Mitch Marsh. The first ball of the new over, he sends it far and high over the rope, the ball skimming the top of a portable toilet and heading into Inverleith Park.

  8. AUS 29-2published at 5 overs

Australia aren't getting near this Brandon McMullen over, but neither is Matthew Cross. Five wides and a leg-bye.

The only time the Australians are hitting it at the moment, they're edging it. Streaky.

  9. AUS 19-2published at 4 overs

Cam Green edges his first ball just past his stumps, before clipping one just past Chris Sole at short mid-wicket, who dives speculatively.

They don't look comfortable out there. Maybe the drums are putting them off.

  10. AUS 18-2published at 16:04 British Summer Time 7 September

    George O'Neill
BBC Sport Scotland at The Grange

A massive moment in this game. Brad Currie does the trick again and Scotland have a glimmer of hope in the capital...

Those drummers to my right are the loudest they've been all day.

  11. wicket

WICKET Head c Munsey b Currie 12published at 3.2 overs

    AUS 18-2 (target 150)

    Scotland strike again!

Travis Head mistimes his swipe and it goes high into the sky. Munsey is the man underneath it... and he collects it.

Cameron Green comes in. Maybe Josh Inglis is a bit tired after his knock yesterday.

  12. AUS 18-1 (target 150)published at 3 overs

A couple of near misses for both Travis Head and Mitchell Marsh, who've edged behind three times between them.

Lucky for them, they've all gone into gaps in the field.

  13. AUS 3-1 (target 150)published at 1.5 overs

Mitch Marsh clips one just short of Brandon McMullen, before one strikes his pads and goes down the leg side.

A surprisingly nervy start from the visitors.

  14. AUS 2-1 (target 150)published at 15:54 British Summer Time 7 September

    George O'Neill
BBC Sport Scotland at The Grange

    Wowowowowow.

    What a catch, Brandon McMullen.

Jake Fraser-McGurk can't quite believe it, but he has to go.

  15. wicket

    WICKET Fraser-McGurk c McMullen b Currie 1published at 1.1 overs

    AUS 2-1 (target 150)

Brandon McMullen can do it all!

Jake Fraser-McGurk cuts one low but somehow McMullan dives low to his left and grabs it inches from the turf.

    Get it clipped.

  16. Australia's innings beginpublished at 0.5 overs

    Aus 1-0 (target 150)

We're back under way and after starring with the bat, Brandon McMullen again opens the bowling.

Travis Head rather clips one to square leg but it falls well short.

  19. Munsey's exit halts Scotland progresspublished at 15:39 British Summer Time 7 September

Scotland set Australia target of 150

Removing the wicket of George Munsey is always vital for any of Scotland's opponents, and Australia were able to do it just as he was building a head of steam...

  20. Scotland set Australia target of 150 to winpublished at 15:36 British Summer Time 7 September

Well it's a little better than yesterday, but a similar tale.

Few batters really took hold of the game by the scruff, other than Brandon McMullen who managed another half-century.

Munsey managed a solid 25 and Watt scored a good 18, but you can't help but think McMullen needs a little more help.

The Australia innings will start in about 15 minutes.
