A poor effort in the crowd there as McMullen's third six of the day bursts through a spectator's hands.

  2. 6 runs

    SCO 91-4published at 11.6 overs

You can always rely on Brandon McMullen to rip an enormous six from nowhere to turn the mood, and that's what he's done there.

Right back over Adam Zampa's head and into the stands. Huge.

  3. SCO 82-4published at 14:54 British Summer Time 7 September

    George O'Neill
BBC Sport Scotland at The Grange

Matthew Cross swishes his bat through the air with disgust and frustration as he trudges off.

He never looked comfortable against Adam Zampa and loses his leg-stump.

  4. wicket

WICKET Cross b Zampa 7published at 11.1 overs

    SCO 82-4

The first ball of the new over, and Adam Zampa dislodges Matthew Cross' leg-stump.

Cross wandered far over to the leg-side in anticipation and Zampa caught him out with a flatter one.

  6. SCO 80-3published at 10.5 overs

Sean Abbott is back on, this time from the pavilion end. Matthew Cross isn't quite getting to grips with this pace.

He spoons one vaguely towards Tim David but it drops well short.

  7. SCO 78-3published at 10 overs

Matt Cross is unable to rotate the strike to the first three balls of Adam Zampa's latest over, but a powerful sweep shot skips away for four to release some of the pressure.

Another couple of dots finish the over, which leaves Scotland 78-3 at the halfway stage of their innings.

Andrew Petrie will talk you through the next wee while.

  8. SCO 74-3published at 9 overs

A wee Australian fan in a baggy green hat just had her wave reciprocated by Jake Fraser-McGurk.

She runs back to her dad beaming, bounding in to his arms. A lovely moment.

  9. 6 runs

    SCO 74-3published at 9 overs

It's a superb over from Cam Green, until the final ball, which is banged in short and hooked miles over the square-leg boundary for six by Brandon McMullen.

No-one was able to stick with McMullen yesterday - can Matthew Cross do so today?

  10. SCO 67-3published at 8.1 overs

When a batter stands still after their bails have gone flying, it's usually because they're still trying to compute the ball they just faced.

That's what happened to Richie Berrington there. An absolute ripper from Cam Green.

  11. wicket

WICKET Berrington b Green 8published at 8.1 overs

    SCO 67-3

Cam Green picks up the Scotland captain with an absolute beauty.

Nips back through the gate and trims the bails. Berrington looks down at the pitch, almost in disbelief.

  12. SCO 67-2published at 8 overs

A few close calls for Scotland in Adam Zampa's first over, but some sharp running sees six come from it.

    McMullen has 21; Berrington eight.

  13. SCO 61-2published at 6.5 overs

Connolly thinks he has Richie Berrington caught behind for his first international wicket, but the umpire doesn't agree.

Berrington then smashes the next delivery into the media tent and one of my fellow journalists has to show sharp reflexes to defend his laptop.

    Good hands...

  14. SCO 57-2published at 6.2 overs

Cooper Connolly is back into the attack now the field can go back, and Scotland are happy to knock the ball into gaps for now.

  15. SCO 54-2published at 6 overs

Scotland skipper Richie Berrington gets off the mark with two through the off-side and that ends the powerplay.

It's fairly evenly poised at this stage. Scotland have gone at nine-an-over, but have lost both openers.

  16. wicket

WICKET Munsey c Head b Green 25published at 5.4 overs

    SCO 52-2

Cam Green bangs in a well directed short ball to George Munsey, and Scotland's opener can only direct it straight to Travis Head at backward point.

A tame end to what was a powerful innings.

  17. 6 runs

    SCO 52-1published at 5.2 overs

A streaky inside-edge brings George Munsey four down the fine-leg, before an enormous hit down the ground adds six more.

  19. SCO 42-1published at 5 overs

A good comeback from Stoinis after that boundary, with just two singles coming off the rest of the over.

Cam Green is replacing Cooper Connolly for the final over of the powerplay.

  20. SCO 40-1published at 4.3 overs

    Andrew Petrie
BBC Sport Scotland at The Grange

A run rate of exactly nine for Scotland from the first four overs.

They'll need to do far better than the 154 or 126 they managed in the previous games if they are to cause an upset. They're on course so far.

If these two can form a decent partnership, it could be very promising for Scotland.
