We'll have a pitch inspection in Lauderhill at 15:30, which was when the game was due to start.

A few hours ago the outfield was absolutely sopping, but the skies have cleared up and the ground staff have done a fantastic job of sopping up the standing water.

There's still a few puddles on the edges of the square, but hopefully they'll be gone quite soon.

The first match at this ground, Sri Lanka v Nepal on Tuesday, was abandoned and everyone at stadium today will be desperate to get some play today.

Well, we didn't expect it to go like this.

Two weeks ago, who would have thought that the United States would have been one game away from qualification for the second stage of the T20 World Cup.

And one day ago, after extensive rain and flooding in Florida, would you have imagined that this match would be going ahead?

We're going to have a delayed start, but it seems like there's a good chance of the USA v Ireland going ahead.

    Fingers crossed.
