  1. Brave 4-0published at 95 balls

    Target 107

Leus du Plooy and James Vince knock four runs off their chase of 107.

Vince can feel a little unlucky not to have a boundary to his name. He picked a gap in the covers but the outfield was very slow. He still managed to run three.

  2. Brave 0-0published at 99 balls

    Target 107

Well, that's not a promising stat if you're a Birmingham Phoenix fan.

Trent Boult opens the bowling with a dot ball.

Joe Clarke top-scored for Birmingham Phoenix with 36 (27) but how good was Michael Bracewell with the ball?

He finished with 3-10 from his 15 deliveries and together with James Coles, Southern Brave's spinners took 4-27.

Could Liam Livingstone, Dan Mousley, and Jacob Bethell have a big role to play for Phoenix?

  6. 'They are under par so we should chase it'published at 15:50 British Summer Time 10 August

Southern Brave fast bowler Chris Jordan speaking on Sky Sports: "It is always good to contribute to the team as much as possible. Jofra [Archer] and I spoke before the game and he said that his quickest ball had been and gone but he was up for it today!

"A good effort from the boys. It is a good wicket and they were under par so we should chase it down."

On his wicket of Ben Duckett: "Our planning to him was good. He played well last year against us and got into the nineties when we didn't execute our plans. You have to execute as well, not just plan and I got the rewards after the boys did some good stuff in the powerplay.

"Ben is such a quality player and we have seen how good he has been recently. To keep him quiet in the powerplay and get his wicket was good."

On the wicket: "It is good. We have good variety in our attack so we had to keep resetting our angles and plans. That contributed to us restricting them so much."

  7. Rockets post 128-8published at Rockets v Superchargers

A run out from the last ball, Alana King gone trying for a single that she knew was never on, but from 5-3, Trent Rockets can't be too unhappy to finish on 128-8.

That they got there is down to the efforts of captain Ash Gardner, who made a superb 61 from 32 balls.

Kate Cross was the pick of the Northern Superchargers with 3-31, while Linsey Smith was also impressive with 1-19 from her 20 balls.

Superchargers will back themselves to knock off these runs but the Rockets have given themselves a chance after a dreadful start.

Top three spells by off-spinners in The Hundred men's competition:

    2. Dan Mousley - 3-9 v Trent Rockets, 2024

    3. Michael Bracewell - 3-10 v Birmingham Phoenix, 2025 (today)

Seems below par from Birmingham Phoenix. They'll be hoping they can take some early wickets. Some of the Brave batters are quite destructive when they get going. It could be over in a flash if Phoenix aren't careful.

  10. Phoenix 106-7published at 100 balls

Benny Howell can't punish a full toss from Chris Jordan but manages to sneak through for two.

Birmingham Phoenix finish on 106-7. Another underwhelming performance from their stacked batting line-up.

Can the bowlers do any better?

  11. Phoenix 104-7published at 99 balls

    Dot ball.

Doesn't look good for Benny Howell here. He's holding his right hamstring and rubbing it. He doesn't seem particularly happy. A concern for Phoenix if they lose a bowling option here.

  13. Phoenix 104-7published at 98 balls

Adam Milne pirouettes as he connects with the ball and jogs a single.

  14. Phoenix 103-7published at 97 balls

Boom. Adam Milne sprays the ball into the off-side for four.

    100 up for Birmingham Phoenix.

  15. Phoenix 99-7published at 96 balls

Chris Jordan - and not Tymal Mills - is bowling the final five for Southern Brave.

It starts with a single to Benny Howell.

  16. wicket

    WICKETpublished at Rockets v Superchargers

    Graham c Wareham b Sutherland (Rockets 115-7)

Two quick wickets for Northern Superchargers!

Heather Graham holes out to deep mid-wicket off Annabel Sutherland with Georgia Wareham taking the catch in an all-Aussie dismissal.

Wareham had dropped a simple catch to give Graham a life a few balls earlier but comes running in to take a very good catch as she slides on her knees here.

Eight balls left in the Rockets innings.

A very impressive return to hundred ball cricket for Jofra Archer.

  18. Phoenix 98-7published at 95 balls

It's a brilliant five from Jofra Archer, who finishes with figures of 2-16.

He mixed in his slower deliveries nicely and bagged the wicket of set batter Joe Clarke in his final spell.

Seven is a big number to lose in a hundred ball game. Joe Clarke has played a good hand.

  20. wicket

    WICKETpublished at Rockets v Superchargers

    Jones c Perrin b Cross 12 (Rockets 115-6)

Kate Cross has her third wicket as Emma Jones falls attempting the scoop.

The shot was on with the fielder up at short fine but it's Davina Perrin who's there and when Jones fails to make the contact she wants, Perrin comes around to take a smart catch.
