Reverse scoop is a new shot to Jordan Cox's arsenal. He has played this shot only five times across his T20 career, with four of them coming this Hundred season. He had scored 12 runs off three balls with that shot this season before his dismissal.

  6. 'Keeping the same allows people to express themselves'published at 21:23 British Summer Time 25 August

    Oval Invincibles

Oval Invincibles captain Sam Billings, speaking to Sky Sports: "The job he did today in the middle phase was fantastic.

"Will Jacks broke the back of the chase in that first part.

"Jordan Cox came out and played beautifully from ball one. The intent Donovan Ferreira shows, that is his role. If he does get going, it really is scary.

"These sixes he is hitting them further and further!

"It is a great break now to be able to reset and get our thoughts together.

"It is more refreshing and building that energy physically and mentally back up.

"You build that trust by keeping consistent. Keeping the same environment you build trust naturally between the group. You, as an individual, you can go play your natural game.

"We want to keep the same team. It allows people to go out and express themselves.

"We think by doing that we have the best domestic players."

Six wins out of their last six and nine wins out of their last 10 games for Oval Invincibles at The Oval. Living up to their team name. In their last six wins at The Oval, five of them have come in chases with 15, 37, 43, 11, and 22 balls remaining. Truly dominant.

The Invincibles have been good at home, but they have got to do it at Lord's away from home.

Oval Invincibles' Will Jacks, speaking to Sky Sports about his catch: "Everyone was saying they were struggling to see the ball - I picked it up a bit late, and pure luck!

On the run-chase: "Jordan Cox made it easy for me, he is batting so well at the moment.

"We have been looking for that top spot all year long. We know how important it is to get straight into the final.

"We have focused on the important things all season. Hopefully, we can win on Sunday!"

Playing like this, it will be hard to see the Oval Invincibles being beaten.

It's not official, Chris but yes, barring the most remarkably of turnarounds in net run-rate, Oval Invincibles will straight through to Lord's to try and defend their title.

The TV reckon it needs to be something like a 200-run swing for Trent Rockets. Feels unlikely.

Madness yet again at the Oval. The Invincibles finish their season on a high. Straight through to the final.

Donovan Ferreira finishes it in style - Oval Invincibles have one foot in the final!

Stand and deliver stuff from the Invincibles finisher, smashing the ball back over Liam Dawson's head.

  14. Invincibles 147-4published at 23 balls left

    Need another 6 to win

Everything is going to the boundary...

Even little under edges that go through the goalkeeper's legs.

A bit of luck for Donovan Ferreira.

    Need another 11 to win

Luke Wood back for his last five and starts with a couple of dot balls - one full, one short.

Good start but Donovan Ferreira isn't going to stand for that. Two balls later, he waits for a slower one and powers it high over the leg side for six!

Invincibles are two hits from victory...

  19. Invincibles 133-4published at 30 balls left

    Need another 20 to win

Donovan Ferreira comes in and smashes his first ball over mid-on for four!

    No respite for Spirit.

A wide follows but then so nearly another wicket!

Ferreira tries to flat-bat it back down the ground, mistimes it and it loops over Jamie Overton's head but just short of Kane Williamson.

Words exchanged between batter and bowler again. It's been a bit spicy tonight.

A well-executed straight yorker from Jamie Overton.

A shot we have seen Jordan Cox play well, that reverse scoop, but Overton was too quick.

Overton is trying to get his team over the line.
