That was what we call in the game 'a pie', a drag-down that he muscled.

    And here it comes!

Hardik Pandya wallops a six over long-off, followed by a crunching drive for four to the same part of the ground.

  3. Ind 120-4published at 14 overs

Another quiet over, just five from it.

India are waiting for the right time to go big.

Tanzim Hasan has been one of the finds of the tournament.

  5. Ind 115-4published at 13 overs

No boundaries and just five runs off Mahmudullah's second over.

He has 0-8 so far, a wonderful effort against a powerhouse batting line-up. But it feels like Hardik and Dube are just biding their time for some fireworks.

  6. Ind 110-4published at 12 overs

That's 10 wickets in the tournament now for the leg-spinner Rishad Hossain. He's been targeted today but has held his own.

Hardik Pandya joins Shivam Dube in the middle.

He got carried away, that's the only explanation for that sort of shot. Why he decided to reverse sweep with short third man and cover in the ring, I don't know what profitability he thought he'd get.

    Pant c Ali b Rishad 36 (Ind 108-4)

And he goes for one too many!

Rishabh Pant was looking for a boundary every ball, this time trying the reverse sweep but it's straight into the hands of Jaker Ali at short third.

Rishad Hossain has been expensive but he's fought back with a big breakthrough.

    Swept for four more...

This was always the worry for me. If you let players like Rishabh Pant get to 20 then he'll take you apart.

He can even hit them one-handed.

Pant's hand comes off the bat as he swings Rishad Hossain over long-off for another six.

    He's on one here.

Shivam Dube has looked a little bit nervous in this tournament.

The role he played in the indian Premier League was impressive against spin and pace but it hasn't quite come off for him on the big stage yet.

India have given him a platform here though.

  13. Ind 97-3published at 11 overs

Those boundaries have thrown Mustafizur Rahman completely off his radar.

He bowls a full toss that Rishabh Pant is not going to miss out on, flicking it effortlessly for four more.

    14 from the over.

  14. 6 runs

    He's flicked a switch.

In the slot, heaved over mid-wicket for six.

  15. Ind 87-3published at 10.1 overs

Ease your way back in after drinks?

Not for Rishabh Pant. Crunched through the covers for four.

  16. Ind 83-3published at 10 overs

    Halfway through.

Mahmudullah's first over costs only three as Bangladesh continue to fight well. Rishabh Pant is playing curiously, with 12 from 15 so far.

  17. Ind 80-3published at 9 overs

Excellent work from Tanzim Hasan. He's quite erratic, with raw pace at only 21 years old, but he has been mightily impressive.

He now has 11 wickets in the tournament.

Where's this man been? He's come on and changed the game in three balls! That was a cracking delivery, you'd be happy with that in any form of the game.

    Suryakumar c Litton b Tanzim 6 (Ind 77-3)

    Immediate response!

More beautiful bowling from Tanzim Hasan. He's not impressed with the six, and bowls faster outside off stump which gets some sharp bounce and takes the glove of Suryakumar Yadav, the in-form man.

There's barely an appeal from the bowler but the keeper goes up, and the batter walks!

    Big over.

  20. 6 runs

    Ind 77-2published at 8.2 overs

There is no mercy when you're bowling to India.

Suryakumar Yadav hooks his first ball for six.
