  1. Ind 23-0published at 2 overs

Bangladesh are under pressure early as 15 runs come from Shakib's first over.

There is a strong breeze going across the ground that the bowling side could use to their advantage if they bowl smartly.

  2. 6 runs

Virat Kohli follows suit! Gloriously lofted over mid-wicket for six.

    Four more.

Rohit Sharma has shown already that he is going to take on the spinners, sweeping Shakib Al Hasan's second ball for a crisply timed boundary.

A solid over for India, I think they'd take that. The boundary off the final ball just swings the momentum their way.

  5. Ind 8-0published at 1 over

Oooh, a few jitters from Virat Kohli as he gets off the mark with a quick single but not without some hesitation and an attempted run out, but he makes it.

Rohit Sharma then goes for the sweep and gets a top edge for an unconvincing four. An erratic start!

Jahan (pessimistic Bangladesh fan): Need our batters to turn up. Been poor all tournament and if we restrict India to anything 150+ I have no hope on our batters getting that score!

  7. Ind 2-0published at 0.1 overs

    Intent from Rohit Sharma!

A lovely lofted drive down the ground first ball off the spinner, but it plugs in the outfield and they only manage two.

Right, the anthems are done and both sets of fans are as passionate as ever - there aren't loads, but you can always rely on them to make plenty of noise.

Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma are making their way to the middle for India, and Mahedi Hasan has the ball in hand. Let's get going!

  10. 'Bangladesh must raise their game'published at 15:23 British Summer Time 22 June

It doesn't get bigger for Bangladesh than a game against India. They always find some fight for these games. They have not fired on all cylinders and they are going to have to raise their game today.

  11. West Indies keep pressure on Englandpublished at 15:20 British Summer Time 22 June

Overnight, co-hosts West Indies thrashed the USA to keep the pressure on England after they lost to South Africa yesterday.

South Africa are top of the group with two wins from two, but we could have a three-way battle to progress.

If England beat USA on Sunday (15:30 BST) they will be in a good position to progress - and will definitely be through if South Africa beat West Indies on Sunday night (Monday, 01:30 BST).

However, if West Indies beat South Africa it will go down to net run-rate (assuming England win) to decide which of the three sides progress.

Here are the highlights from both of yesterday's games if you missed any of the action.

Bangladesh can't really afford another defeat today if they want to qualify for the semis, but bowling is their strength so I'd say they made the right call at the toss.

21-year-old quick Tanzim Hasan has led the way with his pace, a fiery fast bowler who was particularly enjoyable to watch in Bangladesh's win over Nepal which secured their qualification.

He has nine wickets in five matches and will be looking to cause some trouble for an India top order that has looked a little fragile. Their success has largely been down to their own impressive bowling attack, led by Jasprit Bumrah, and their powerful middle order.

Virat Kohli's form is the main concern - he only has 29 runs in four innings.

India captain Rohit Sharma: "We would have batted first so that's what we've got and we need to make the most of it.

"It looks a good pitch, nice and hard, it just depends on how much sun we get and whether it dries out and gets slower. We need to get as many as possible which we have done pretty well throughout the tournament so far.

"We know that every game is so important. We've got to play our best and stay present. We won't look too far ahead."

  15. Postpublished at 15:06 British Summer Time 22 June

Bangladesh captain Najmul Hossain Shanto: "We'll try to restrict them to a small total and then chase,. Its very important, it's a good opportunity to play here, we’ve played some good cricket and we hope to continue.

"It looks a good pitch, 150-160 will be a good score I think."

  16. Bangladesh win the toss and bowlpublished at 15:03 British Summer Time 22 June

The Super 8s games come thick and fast, and Bangladesh have had little turnaround from their defeat by Australia early on Friday morning.

But skipper Najmul Hossain Shanto has his first win of the day, choosing to bowl first. We'll hear from the captains and bring you the team news shortly.

  17. Welcomepublished at 15:00 British Summer Time 22 June

    Good afternoon!

The Super 8s are accelerating and pressure is building for the top two spots in each group. But India, who are taking on Bangladesh this afternoon, are in a good position as they look to continue their unbeaten run.

They are well-placed for a semi-final spot alongside Australia, who are also unbeaten, so the Tigers are looking for a big upset today in Antigua.
