It really is raining quite heavily at Lord's now. Gulp.

The cut-off is 19:18. If we are not back on by that time this one will go down as a no result.

Some of India's players are smirking on the balcony in the away dressing room.

India spinner Shree Charani grips the ball tightly with her left hand and rubs her tongue against her lip before bowling.

Nat Sciver-Brunt skips down the pitch to the Charani's final ball of the over and biffs it over the top for four.

We haven't seen too many of these hard flat sweeps. That was so good. Nat Sciver-Brunt gets out low and in front. Sciver-Brunt gets that connection with the power that not many in the game possess.

  10. Eng 90-1published at 17 overs

    Nicely played by Nat Sciver-Brunt.

She reverse sweeps a delivery from Deepti Sharma heading down leg into the gap at third.

It slows up on the Lord's baize but the England captain and Amy Jones manage to run three.

A couple of balls later and Sciver-Brunt sweeps in a more orthodox fashion and pummels it to the fence for four.

    A profitable over for England.

Both Jones and Nat Sciver-Brunt make clean contact with drives down the ground but some good fielding from India deny them.

India call for a huddle as they try and work out how they can force some quick wickets out of England.

Amy Jones has started to look comfortable after a tight spell from India's spinners.

  18. Eng 78-1published at 15 overs

Three dots to start Deepti Sharma' third over before Nat Sciver-Brunt and Amy Jones pick up a single apiece. England content to sit and wait for the bad ball.
