Bumrah has asked if it's swinging. His fingers are tingling.

I love it when Jos Buttler wiggles his shoulders. I bet he's a great dancer.

Hint of swing. Salt away with a single.

This is a big challenge for England. That's a very good effort by the India batters.

    Thanks, Ffion.

Do we know for certain that it was a lie?

Anyway, I'm taking a break but I'll be back for the conclusion. I'll leave you with Stephan Shemilt.

And the Meat Loaf story, while I'm at it. I'm sure it's underwhelming by now, but my brother was partial to a fib as a child. Would come home from school spouting quite a lot of nonsense.

One of the fibs was that Meat Loaf was his primary school guitar teacher.

I hope it was worth it. Here's England's chase.

Chris Jordan finished with 3-37 - a little expensive but he bowled two of his overs at the death, as usual. He also took a very good catch to get rid of Suryakumar Yadav.

There was one wicket apiece for Reece Topley, Sam Curran, Adil Rashid and Jofra Archer.

England all-rounder Liam Livingstone: "It was just to keep things simple, bowl into the pitch and use the wicket. I didn't get a wicket, but it came out alright.

"It's obviously very low, but it's always low. None have gone up. Hopefully we can adjust.

"We've got a lot of firepower, so fingers crossed we can get that total."

That's a competitive score from India. It was set up by Rohit Sharma's 57 and Suryakumar Yadav's 47.

The pitch was turning and keeping low for the spinners, and they've got Kuldeep Yadav, Ravindra Jadeja and Axar Patel at their disposal.

They also have the cheat code that is Jasprit Bumrah.

I don't think England made the wrong call at the toss. India have batted well in patches. England could have been chasing a lot more.

In Adelaide two years ago, India made 168-6. It was a very different surface.

  13. Ind 171-7published at 20 overs

Chris Jordan misses a pretty simple run out chance as the batters come through for a single.

After all that, England need 172 to win and reach the World Cup final.

He's hit that a lot straighter than he was expecting. He was looking to hit it towards mid-wicket.

    Six and out.

Axar Patel tries to repeat the shot but picks out Phil Salt at long-on.

Arshdeep Singh has one ball to make the most of.

    Short ball, six.

That is a nightmare for England.

But if they do get a partnership going, then the pressure is really on India.

If England lose Buttler and Salt early then they'll be in real trouble. Those two are key.

  19. Ind 161-6published at 19.1 overs

Chris Jordan to bowl the last.

Some good running sees the batters scamper two, and that gets Jadeja back on strike.

  20. Ind 159-6published at 19 overs

    12 from the over.

Plenty of chat from the pundits has said that 160 is a good score on this pitch.
