    Hardik c Rizwan b Shaheen (Ind 223-4)

Short and wide and down the legside but good enough as Hardik Pandya gets a tickle through to the keeper.

  2. Ind 223-3published at 39.4 overs

Kohli 86; India need 19 runs

    Can he get there?

It will be interesting to see how Virat Kohli will play this after seeing Hardik Pandya come out and hit it like that.

The crowd want the Virat Kohli hundred.

'Kohli! Kohli! Kohli! Kohli! Kohli! Kohli!' is the chant now from the stands...

India are looking to win this as quick as possible.

This is a nail in the Pakistani coffin.

  7. Ind 221-3published at 39.2 overs

Caught at full dive with his glasses on as well. Hardik Pandya is the new batter and smokes an expansive drive over cover for a massive four, then punts one over long off for two.

    He's got somewhere to be!

All three wickets have been, in their own ways, quite spectacular.

How can you take a catch like that when you've dropped sitters like Pakistan have all day.

That's been brilliantly, brilliantly caught. It's a wicket but it's far too late.

  11. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 38.4 overs

    Shreyas c Imam b Khushdil 56 (Ind 214-3)

Screamer! Even the camera person is caught out as they trace the ball towards the fence but Shreyas Iyer's drive is instead picked off at full stretch by Imam-ul-Haq at cover.

    Great catch!

Virat Kohli has always been a better batter compared to Babar Azam. I honestly don't understand why Pakistani supporters think Babar is better than Virat - even the stats clearly show that Virat is far superior.

Pakistan just took such a long time to get going. they lost Muhammad Rizwan then the pressure was on the middle order to get some runs.

Rizwan felt the pressure of the dot balls which is why he tried to hack it. Imagine what the middle order felt like.

  14. Ind 210-2published at 38.3 overs

The stadium DJ has even felt the need to speed up Dua Lipa to try and inject some life into this finale. Virat Kohli does miss out on a loose ball down the leg side and is angry with hmiself, before whipping square through the offside.

That tells you something about India's batters, they've not given anything away.

It's been one of those innings where India have been so in control, it's been stale.

It doesn't even feel like they've been challenged. There's been no lbw shouts, no reviews, no excitement really.

  17. Ind 209-2published at 38 overs

The stadium is almost in silence, this one has never really got going as a thrilling contest. Which is a shame.

India are able to just pick off three or four singles an over now.

Gill dropped on 35 by Khushdil at mid-wicket

When you look at the Pakistan team, I don't really know who you could bring in to make it any better.

This hasn't really been an explosive innings from India. They haven't needed to explode, they've just knocked it around.

That's also because they haven't had to chase that many, the pressure hasn't been there.

  20. Ind 204-2published at 37.2 overs

    Kohli 82

    Can he?
