Heather Knight's reaction said it all. She can't believe that they've gone off so close to the end of the game.

The England captain was batting brilliantly on 43 from 19 balls. She is in the dugout and is going nowhere any time soon.

The raining is pouring out of the night sky, the heaviest we have seen it in the whole game.

England will feel so hard done by if Australia win now down to DLS.

Incredible! It is bucketing it down but Heather Knight is fuming.

She's thrown her bat and gestures angrily as the umpires take the players off.

England are six behind on DLS, they look set to lose this game just as the skipper looked to have given them hope.

It is now absolutely hammering down...

    DLS is 174.

  5. Eng 168-4published at 19.1 overs

    Need 18 from 5 balls

It is chucking it down but England are still fighting.

Four! Cut through backward point for four!

  6. Postpublished at 11:48 Greenwich Mean Time

England need 22 from six balls. Heather Knight on strike.

    Sciver-Brunt b Garth 22 (Eng 164-4)

    Dragged on!

Nat Sciver-Brunt aims a vicious shot off side but only manages to get a thick inside edge onto the stumps.

A good finish from Kim Garth with the rain suddenly falling quite heavily.

  8. Eng 164-3published at 18.5 overs

    Need 22 from 7 balls

Hit too well by Heather Knight so she only gets a single out to deep backward square.

  9. Eng 163-3published at 18.4 overs

    Need 23 from 8 balls

Pulled away behind square by Heather Knight... four!

England are still just about in this match...

  10. Eng 157-3published at 18.2 overs

    Need 29 from 10 balls

Two for Nat Sciver-Brunt as she carves Kim Garth over the gully region but just a single next ball.

England need boundaries and plenty of them.

It was an excellent effort from Ellyse Perry. She had to run back over her shoulder and just tipped it over the boundary.

It is the boundary that England needed. Knight is flying out there.

  12. 6 runs

    Eng 154-3published at 18 overs

    Need 32 from 12 balls

Heather Knight heaves the last delivery of the over for six - just!

Ellyse Perry nearly pulls off a brilliant diving catch on the rope but can't quite hold on.

The ball drops over the rope for a maximum that England desperately needed.

  13. Eng 146-3published at 17.3 overs

    Target 186

Australia are behind the over-rate and so will have to bring another fielder into the ring at some point quite soon.

Could that prove costly? Perhaps not after a good start to the over from Tahlia McGrath, four from the first three balls.

England need 40 from 15 balls.

Heather Knight has spoken out and said that the senior players need to step up. They haven't done what they wanted to in recent games. You can see Knight here is trying her best to manipulate the field.

Australia need to hold their nerve.

  15. Eng 142-3published at 17 overs

    Target 186

    Big over for England!

Nat Sciver-Brunt heaves the last ball of the Megan Schutt set through mid-wicket for another boundary.

England have got it down to 44 needed from 18 balls. You never know...

  16. Eng 137-3published at 16.4 overs

    Four more!

Much purer strike from Heather Knight, over extra cover and a couple of bounces before it reaches the fence.

  17. Eng 131-3published at 16.2 overs

    Target 186

Heather Knight hits over mid-off and despite that not finding anywhere close to the middle of the bat, there is enough on it to reach the boundary.

It remains unlikely but England are doing just enough to retain a glimmer of hope.

It feels very dramatic out there. England are pushing for runs and it has been an expensive over for Australia.

It was a great pickup from Kim Garth, if she had been a fraction quicker, Heather Knight would have been struggling.

  19. Eng 125-3published at 16 overs

    Target 186

Heather Knight should be run out by a mile after going through for a desperate single as England try to keep themselves in with a shout.

The throw misses the stumps with bowler Kim Garth unable to deflect it on the stumps.

Good running last ball to get back for two. England need 61 from 24 balls.

67 runs is the highest Australia have conceded in the final five overs of a T20I - England required 71 at the 15-over mark.
