So pleased for Nadine de Klerk. She's arguably been one of the top three all-rounders in the competition.

Richa Ghosh strikes at a frightening 147 in the final 10 overs of the innings and just like that hits her second ball from six over cover.

  3. Ind 253-5published at 44 overs

South Africa need to get rid of Richa Ghosh as soon as possible or at least keep her off strike. Otherwise, their excellent work since removing Shafali Verma could quickly come undone.

Richa Ghosh is a destructive player at this stage of the game, and her intentions are very clear.

Brilliant bit of work from Nadine de Klerk, and it is a really good catch to hold on to. Five wickets in hand for India, Richa Ghosh is the power hitter, and South Africa will want to see the back of her very quickly.

    De Clutch! Who else?

Amanjot Kaur plays the ball back to bowler Nadine de Klerk, who leaps to her right and takes a one-handed grab. Good reactions!

Out walks Richa Ghosh. India need some fireworks from their finisher.

India will be looking to get the run rate to at least seven, especially with six wickets in hand and the left-right hand combination, which has caused problems for South Africa. Anything above 300 is a good total in a final.

    Impact outside. Carry on.

Nonkululeko Mlaba, selected in your team of the tournament, has been the pick of South Africa's bowlers. She's got 1-38 from her nine overs and has only conceded two boundaries.

Nonkululeko Mlaba appeals in vain for lbw against Deepti Sharma.

The umpire says no but the bowler convinces captain Laura Wolvaardt to send it upstairs.

Amanjot Kaur registers her first boundary, leaving it late to guide the ball through point for four. Marizanne Kapp lets out a frustrated roar.

    It's accompanied by three singles.

India have finished well in the final 10 overs of this tournament, scoring at 8.4 rpo - the only side to have scored quicker in the final phase are their opponents South Africa (9.5 rpo).

Tough chance but that's a drop from South Africa.

Laura Wolvaardt, diving forward in the deep, gets two hands to it but can't hold on. It was very low.

Deepti Sharma was frustrated with herself as soon as she hit it.

10 overs to go and it is evenly poised, but I think India will be happier with runs on the board and have a good platform with power hitters to come. Runs on the board is essential in a final and puts pressure on the opposition.

  18. Ind 229-4published at 40 overs

It's funny how closely India's innings has mirrored Australia's in the semi-finals.

Phoebe Litchfield got Australia off to a flyer. However from 180-1 in the 28th, they slowed to 265-6 in the 42nd.

India have gone from 166-1 in the 28th prior to Shafali Verma's exit to 229-4 into the 40th.

India will surely be looking to attack in the final 10 and still have Richa Ghosh to come.

Lovely bit of bowling from Mlaba and well deserved as well. She was bowling economically and kept it simple by bowling stump to stump, and a really important time for South Africa to get a wicket as India bat very deep.
