Steven Burke is fit to take his place in the Great Britain team for this month's Track World Championships after recovering from a broken collarbone.

The Olympic champion suffered the injury in a training accident in early January, but underwent successful surgery to ensure he can compete.

Burke is in the men's endurance group to contest the team pursuit on the opening day of the Paris event.

Olympic gold medallist Joanna Rowsell leads the women's endurance group.

The 26-year-old, who won individual and team pursuit titles at the 2014 Track World Championships in Colombia, is joined by Laura Trott, 2014 world champions Elinor Barker, Katie Archibald and Ciara Horne in the squad.

The competition runs from 18-22 February.
