Track Nations Cup 2024: Emma Finucane wins women's sprint gold

Great Britain's Emma Finucane won the women's sprint title in round two of the Track Nations Cup in Hong Kong.
The 21-year-old came through a decider against Lea Sophie Friedrich, of Germany, to set up a final against France's Mathilde Gros.
World champion Finucane comfortably won the first two races in the best-of-three contest to claim the gold medal.
"It feels amazing. I'm really proud and this means everything to me, especially in an Olympic year," said Finucane.
"Coming into this racing, I didn't really know where I'd be at but I put together some really good rides and I'm really proud of how tactically I pulled it off."
Finucane added the individual title to the team sprint gold she helped Britain win the on Friday.
Will Perrett, who had won men's elimination gold on day one, finished seventh in the men's omnium, which was won by New Zealand's Aaron Gate.
