Bruno Armirail of Decathlon AG2R La Mondiale has a lead of 1min 55secs as the four chasers are reeled in by the GC group.

Bruno Armirail is looking fresh. He pushes his lead beyond 30 seconds, while Matteo Jorgenson is again dropped by the GC group.
After helping team-mate Matteo Jorgenson get back to the GC group, Giro d'Italia winner Simon Yates is now pulling it, with Jonas Vingegaard on his wheel.
The group is two minutes 20 seconds back from the leaders as they begin the climb up the Col des Borderes.
Bruno Armirail has gone for it on the descent from the top of the Col du Soulor.
The Frenchman got back to Mattias Skjelmose and then Michael Woods, and is 10 seconds clear at the bottom of the Col des Borderes.
Remco Evenepoel summitted 45 seconds after the GC group, with Ben Healy is two minutes 45 seconds behind.
Michael Woods attacks 1.5km from the Col du Soulor summit and is first over the top, 10 seconds ahead of Mattias Skjelmose, with the rest of the lead group 21 seconds behind Woods:

Apparently it's 34C on the Col du Soulor, with no shade or tailwind. No wonder they're suffering!!

Ilan van Wilder is helping out Soudal Quick-Step team-mate Remco Evenepoel, who falls 20 seconds behind the GC group and takes a drink from the team car.
