After 17 weeks, trips across the United Kingdom, Republic of Ireland, Germany and the Netherlands, countless memorable moments and five perfect legs of darts, the 2025 Premier League season has come to an end.

More from Luke Humphries, speaking to Sky Sports about what's next: "I am just going to retire now, I'm done! That will be in the papers tomorrow, but [joking aside] I want to search for more. He [Luke Littler] makes me want to be a better player. He's so good and a great lad, but I want to get better.

"There's a few changes I want to do to my own set-up to get better, and I need to. Right now I'm doing okay and I've won eight major titles, and the most important ones. It's important to finish the season well.

"It's one [Premier League] apiece now. He'll probably get me back a few times, but one time or 10 times is good enough for me."

Luke Humphries on teaming up with Luke Littler for the World Cup of Darts: "We won't play like that, that's for sure! I've won it before, but Luke hasn't so if we connect we will have a great chance of winning it. The pressure is going to be on us but hopefully we can produce our best."

Littler added: "I cannot wait. He won it last year so hopefully he can lead me to victory."

Luke Littler, speaking to Sky Sports: "I had a little bit of a thing after the game - nobody likes losing - but I'm fine. I am glad to say the Premier League is over - it's been a tough 17 weeks. Happy it's over, and I came runner-up, but I will be back next year.

"I have set many records this season and I will be aiming to break them myself next year. There's bit of a break before the World Series now."

More from Luke Humphries, speaking to Sky Sports: "I love Luke [Littler] to bits. He's one of my best mates on tour. He's so good, but wasn't at his best tonight. Nor was I but I managed to get in front of him He's a great player, and really good. I managed to get him early [in his career] before he trounces everyone."

Luke Humphries, speaking to Sky Sports: "I've joined an elite club with Gary Anderson, Phil Taylor and Michael van Gerwen now. I must say to Phil Taylor a big 'thank you' because he's been giving me a lot of support the past few weeks. It's really helped me so Phil if you are watching, thank you.

"He's given me a lot of advice and that extra boost. It wasn't my best game but I'm really please."

Luke Humphries, speaking to Sky Sports: "Honestly, that one means the world to me. It's the one I was missing. I said in all my pre-match build- up the last few days that it was the one I wanted.

"I've done it now. If I don't win another title I will happy, because I've won the three hardest ones now."

VoiceOfTheMysterons: Unlucky Luke Littler, congratulations to Luke Humphries, but in the grand scheme of things, possibly better overall for the game of darts that it's been shown that if you *can* keep your game together, it is possible that he can be beaten.

Luke Humphries is currently speaking on stage and has paid tribute to 16-time world champion Phil Taylor, who Humphries says has helped him recently.

He also says he "loves" Luke Littler and describes him as "one of my best mates on tour."

Plenty of respect between himself and Luke Littler, who share a laugh and joke before and after Humphries claims his prize.

Cool Hand has also pocketed himself a nice £275,000 for winning this season's Premier League.

Cool Hand was amazing there. The respect that Luke Littler gave him has to be commended. It was a slow burner from Luke Humphries but try to take that smile off his face now.

There's great respect between the pair of them and I'm sure we will have many more finals.

After a defeat to Luke Littler in the 2024 Premier League final, Luke Humphries has got his own back on his rival Littler.

The two are simply a cut above the rest right now, both in their darting quality and in their prize money in the PDC's Order of Merit.

The two will play alongside each other as England's team in the World Cup, a terrifying prospect for those facing this darting duo.

Luke Humphries is finding treble 20 with ease and the pressure is all on Luke Littler.

The Nuke can't take out 145 and with one dart at double 20, Humphries is over.

At 88, Littler gets one dart at double seven, but missed.

Humphries gets three darts at double 20, splits tops but pins Littler's favourite double 10.

The pressure is on Luke Littler in this next leg now.

Luke Humphries starts the leg on his throw treble-less and Luke Littler and the crowd sense opportunity.

Humphries replies 140, 180 to end that.

With six darts at 124, he sets up a full visit on double 16.

Humphries goes wide at double 16, but splits there and on the eights.

Back at 170, Luke Littler cannot take it out and Humphries claims the leg on double two.

Littler has to win three straight legs. Humphries just needs one.

A look to the left from Luke Humphries. Is the draught back?

Clever darts from Luke Littler, who has it all to do.

At 130, a bull ending leaves three darts at double 20.

Littler splits tops, but pins double 10 to cut Luke Humphries' lead.

A few missed darts from Luke Humphries are soon made up for with a timely 180.

Humphries has six darts at 170 and after landing two treble 20s, lays up the double 20.

The crowd boo and Luke Littler jokingly joins in.

With three darts at double 16, Humphries splits there and at the eights before going wide at double four.

Luke Littler can't see off 108 and Humphries is allowed to take double four, which he does.

Luke Littler is far from down and out, giving himself six darts at 136 for a hold of throw.

The Nuke gets three darts at double 20 for another hold and lands it at the second attempt.
