BBC Sport's Ask Me Anything team have been asking for your questions...

Here's one on how tonight's matches will affect the current world rankings.

David in Wakefield asks: Does the winner of Premier League Darts move top of the world rankings?

Should Luke Littler successfully defend his Premier League Darts title, he will not go top of the Professional Darts Corporation's Order of Merit.

That is because the Premier League is not classed as a ranking event, meaning prize money is not counted in the two-year period which is used to determine the Order of Merit.

Littler, 18, heads into Thursday's play-off night as defending champion and the most recent winner of the World Darts Championship.

He is second in PDC's Order of Merit - behind only Luke Humphries, who he faced in the 2024 World Championship final.

For more details on this, you can read our piece in full here.

  4. What are the current darts world rankings?published at 19:15 British Summer Time 29 May

Luke Humphries has an outright lead of over £500,000 at the top of the PDC's Order of Merit, sitting on £1,873,750 from ranked events in the last two years.

Luke Littler sits second on £1,300,500, but has only played the sport professionally since December 2023.

The other two semi-finalists sit outside of the world's top eight, with Nathan Aspinall and Gerwyn Price ninth and 11th respectively.

Both Aspinall and Price sit within £100,000 of world number four Stephen Bunting.

PDC Order of Merit's current top 12:

    1. Luke Humphries - £1,873,750
    2. Luke Littler - £1,300,500
    3. Michael van Gerwen - £734,750
    4. Stephen Bunting - £573,750
    5. Jonny Clayton - £545,250
    6. Rob Cross - £506,250
    7. Chris Dobey - £504,500
    8. James Wade - £500,500
    9. Nathan Aspinall - £496,000
    10. Damon Heta - £495,750
    11. Gerwyn Price - £476,000
    12. Gary Anderson - £471,750

With a record-breaking six nightly wins in one season, Luke Littler finished on 45 points during the 16-week regular Premier League season and 11 points clear of Luke Humphries.

Humphries was a comfortable second place and Nathan Aspinall and Gerwyn Price completed the top four.

While Price qualified for finals night before Aspinall, Aspinall's performance during the final week of the regular season in Sheffield saw him overtake Price to reach the semi-finals.

Michael van Gerwen missed out on finals night for the first time in his Premier League career, while Chris Dobey, Rob Cross and Stephen Bunting also finished outside the top four.
