Jackie McNamara is appointed Partick Thistle manager

Partick Thistle have announced that Jackie McNamara is their new manager.
McNamara has signed a rolling one-year deal at Firhill and will be assisted by ex-Celtic team-mate Simon Donnelly.
The former Scotland international has been in caretaker charge of the First Division side since Ian McCall resigned on 15 April, external.
On his first managerial role, McNamara said: "I'm delighted to be given the opportunity, I'm very proud to be associated with the club."
McNamara is excited to become the 24th manager in Thistle's history, saying: "It's a good challenge, a fantastic club with a great history.
"I've been fortunate in my career that I have had a lot of good managers. Hopefully I can take a lot from them and give it to the players here."
McNamara says he does not have specific targets set for next season.
"I want to be the best we can be. I think everyone in the league will be looking for promotion."
Thistle director David Beattie said on the club website, external: "Jackie was hugely impressive during the interview process and during his time in interim charge.
"He has thoughts on how to take the club forward that are very similar to our own.
"This is, I think, an exciting time for Partick Thistle."
