Shrewsbury Town sign Accrington defender Joe Jacobson

Jacobson played in a 3-1 defeat and 0-0 draw against Town last season

Shrewsbury Town have signed out-of-contract Accrington Stanley defender Joe Jacobson on a two-year deal.

The 24-year-old joined Stanley in November, initially on loan, from Oldham and is a free agent after his deal expired.

"Joe has an excellent left foot and he's good going forward. We've worked hard to bring him here," manager Graham Turner told the club website.

The ex-Bristol Rovers man made 13 appearances for Wales Under-21s.
