DR Congo's Mongongu among African transfers in France

Panthers' coach Gernot Rohr believes Gabon's Andre Biyogo Poko will improve his game at Bordeaux
Gabon's Andre Biyogo Poko has signed for Bordeaux on a three-year deal.
The 18-year-old midfielder has spent his career with Gabonese side US Bitam so far.
Gabon coach Gernot Rohr, a former Bordeaux player, came with Poko for a trial in July and says that he is a player who will be a versatile midfielder.
"He uses the ball well, moving forward. Andre knows how to score and provide assists," Rohr said.
"I think he will further improve his game, and most importantly, gain experience. "
Morocco's Youssouf Hadji is set to have a medical with Rennes on Wednesday, the club has confirmed, ahead of a two-year deal with the French side.
The 31-year-old forward rejoins Rennes from Nancy, where he has been since 2007.
On Tuesday DR Congo international Cedric Mongongu joined French first division newboys Evian.
The centre back, 22, joins the club on a four-year deal after leaving relegated Monaco.
Mongongu had been recently linked with a move to French champions Lille as well as English Premier League side Blackburn Rovers.
"It is the only club in France who trust me and who really wanted me," the Congolese told the club website.
"And since I've played the last few seasons in Ligue 1, I really wanted to come back."
In other France-based transfer news, Ivorian forward Modibo Diarra has joined second division side Le Mans.
On trial at the club since becoming a free agent after a spell in the United Arab Emirates, the 28-year-old has signed a two-year deal.
Le Mans have also announced that they expect to formalise the purchase of Central African Republic forward Momi Hilaire shortly.
The international, 21, is set to leave Cameroonian side Coton Sport Garoua.
Elsewhere, Ghana's Kevin Osei, 20, has been loaned to third tier side Bayonne for the season from parent club Olympique Marseille.
The Ligue 1 club has also loaned Senegalese defender Pape M'Bow for the season to Belgian top-flight side Mons, who have an option to buy.
M'Bow has been loaned out to Cannes, Ajaccio and Cannes again in recent years by Marseille.
