Harrogate Town scored twice in the final minutes to secure a 2-0 win against Gloucester at the CNG Stadium in Blue Square Bet North.
Stephen Turnbull and Paul Brayson both took their chances in the last five minutes of the game.
Manager Simon Weaver told BBC Radio York, external: "Sometimes we've played well this season and came away with nothing.
"We weren't fantastic but it was about getting three points. I'm pleased to finish off the game in good style."
Weaver added: "I thought if we played to our strengths we could create chances even though we didn't create as many as we have done recently in other games.
"But we unlocked the door with a good move and finished it off a couple of minutes later with a typical Paul Brayson finish.
"I think we deserved that. It's about time we added winning ugly into our repertoire."
